Senior Rebar Estimator

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Senior Rebar Estimator, based in Markham or Kitchener, will be responsible for estimating the rebars needed for multiple construction (commercial, residential, infrastructure) projects demands.

Role and responsibilities:

• Oversee the acquisition of complete tender documents for takeoff purposes;
• Takeoff complete and accurate estimate for pricing;
• Provide budget quantities & suggestions for a customer's proposed projects;
• Have a positive & helpful line of communication with the detailing departement;
• Participate and attend pre-tender award meetings, management meetings and staff meetings.

General Skills

• College diploma in civil engineering, estimating or drafting;
• 5 to 7 years of estimating experience;
• 3 to 5 years of experience estimating rebar projects;
• Ability to work on mutiple projects;
• Autonomy, creative, flexible;
• High level of organization;
• Very good communication skills.
