AGF is taking another step forward in its expansion in Ontario with the addition of a sixth business unit. We’re delighted to announce the recent acquisition of NACK, a company specializing in the prefabrication of reinforcing steel structures, with a dedicated plant in Palmerston.
For more than five years, Norm McFadden, who has 30+ years of experience in the construction and rebar industries, and Chris Langridge have been leading a team of a dozen workers. They have been actively involved in major projects such as the Finch West Light-rail transit line and the Concord Sky skyscraper in Toronto, two projects in which AGF Rebar was also involved. We’ll be working together as a team, pooling our expertise.
AGF is delighted to be able to draw on NACK’s innovation and leadership. In addition, their expertise in prefabrication will be a great asset for our customers, who will benefit from time savings on construction sites as well as expert, quality service.
We welcome our new NACK colleagues to the AGF family and look forward to working with them on new projects.
