You can’t stand in the way of progress! This statement, which I often hear from someone close to me, comes to mind immediately when I think of the new way of sharing information within AGF Group.  <\/p>\n

Long-time AGF Steel employees probably remember Rebar People, initiated by Patrick Farley, a one- to four-page document printed on letter-size paper. We received it by email, printed a copy, and that was it. Then, as the Group grew, Rebar People gave way to Network, which reported news from all of the Group’s divisions in the form of a newsletter published a few times a year. After a while, with the flow of announcements news and topics of interest throughout the year, we needed a new, more flexible tool for quickly circulating any news from the Group.  <\/p>\n

As a result, we now have a new, revamped formula: a bilingual news site (English and French), which takes its inspiration from the major dailies, where we can post articles on topics of interest as they happen. You can view the home page, where articles in all categories are posted, or search by category or posting date.  <\/p>\n

A monthly newsletter with the new articles posted will be sent to you automatically. Otherwise, the site will be updated as articles are submitted to the AGF Group’s Communications team. Check back often, share articles and send us your comments. <\/p>\n

This new Network belongs to you, its readers. To keep it lively, we need input from many contributors, along with images. You can use it to share posts in any of the following categories:

Una nueva manera de intercambiar información en el Grupo AGF<\/strong><\/h2>\n

¡Nadie puede detener el progreso! Una persona querida de mi entorno dice mucho esta frase y me viene enseguida a la cabeza cuando pienso en la nueva manera de compartirles a los empleados y socios de negocios las noticias de AGF.<\/p>\n

Los más antiguos empleados de Acier AGF recuerdan probablemente Savoir-Fer<\/em>, iniciado por Patrick Farley, un documento de una a cuatro páginas que tomaba la forma de un documento para imprimir, tamaño carta. Lo recibíamos por correo electrónico, lo imprimíamos y listo. Después el grupo creció y Savoir-Fer<\/em> fue reemplazado por La Red<\/em>, que nos proporcionaba las noticias de todas las divisiones del grupo en forma de un boletín informativo enviado algunas veces por año. Después de haberlo utilizado por un tiempo, como las actualidades y los temas de interés surgen a un ritmo constante durante todo el año, era necesario crear una herramienta que ofreciera más flexibilidad y que pudiese transmitir las noticias del grupo rápidamente.<\/p>\n

Es así que ahora contamos con una forma más moderna: un sitio de noticias trilingüe (francés, inglés y español), inspirado un poco en los grandes diarios. Este sitio nos permite una publicación inmediata de textos sobre temas de su interés. Es posible consultar la página principal, la cual publica los artículos de todas las categorías mezcladas o clasificarlos por categoría o por fecha de publicación.<\/p>\n

Mensualmente, recibirá automáticamente un boletín informativo con los nuevos artículos publicados. Asimismo, el sitio se actualizará conforme el equipo de comunicaciones de Grupo AGF reciba un nuevo artículo. Consúltelo con frecuencia, comparta los artículos, envíenos sus comentarios.<\/p>\n

Esta nueva fórmula de La Red<\/em> es suya, estimado lector, así sea empleado, socio, cliente o admirador de AGF. Para darle vida, ¡necesitamos la participación de muchos escritores! Y también necesitamos buenas imágenes. Puede utilizar esta plataforma para compartirnos alguna noticia de una de las categorías establecidas:<\/p>\n
