Since its beginning and establishment in Costa Rica, AGF has always looked towards the horizon, searching for a destination that leads it to growth and continuous improvement. Today, three years later, we begin to harvest the fruits of everybody’s efforts, dedication and commitment; this gives us the joy of sharing our growth in a humble, simple way, but with great pleasure.<\/p>\n

We succeeded in increasing the moderate production of 300 t per month to 1000 t, gradually showing signs of growth: a real challenge in a country where the construction industry is variable and subject to continuous improvement, with distinctive features that make it demanding. Sharing this small result is satisfying; sharing the search for success fills all members of our great and outstanding family with joy.<\/p>\n

Strengthening our relationship everyday with our trade associate Arcelor Mital reminds us once again that it is impossible to do it alone: without teamwork, our goals cannot be achieved. That is why at AGF CR, we make sure that we keep an open communication, a family communication.<\/p>\n

This relationship allows us to participate in different promotion activities at the Costa Rican Chamber of Construction, where we are active members. Presently, we are preparing to participate at the EQUIMAQ Fair, a very important trade event in the construction field. During three days, we will participate in lectures and in the presentation of our products at our stand at the fair.<\/p>\n

Indeed, the support of our headquarters has been crucial to our growth. We cannot leave out all the support that our colleagues in Canada have offered us; without them, we could not achieve all of this. We thank every one of them for their contribution, their collaboration, and their interest in supporting us.<\/p>\n

During this growth phase, we have managed to work in different construction sectors; we have achieved projects in different fields: residential, universities, condominiums, ports, bridges and hydroelectric — among others — public and government private. These projects allow us to make ourselves known and make our presence be felt in the country.<\/p>\n

Currently, AGF CR is concluding the hydroelectric Chucas project, an endeavour of national interest, working for the transnational ENNEL POWER. At the same time, we are developing the Control Centre project, a government project property of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute, where the general control and management of all the electrical systems of the country are being installed, a project with a quality standard and complexity, of absolute confidentiality.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, without forgetting our origins, at AGF CR everyday we gradually try to get closer to the activities at the Canadian Embassy in Costa Rica, by attending and supporting the activities that are convened: breakfasts, meetings, activities in general. The support is open and positive; the personnel at the embassy, as well as the commercial mission, have always been willing to collaborate and support us. For example, we had the opportunity to celebrate Canada Day with other companies like Air Canada, the Costa Rica-Canada Foundation, and even with the ambassador, during an evening gala.<\/p>\n

We have only achieved a small portion of everything that is waiting for us; however, we know that together, working as a team, we will reach our destination and we will succeed.<\/p>\n

Desde su inicio y llegada a Costa Rica, AGF siempre ha puesto su mirada en el horizonte, buscando un Norte que lo lleve al crecimiento y a la mejora continua. Hoy, tres años más tarde, se comienza a recoger poco a poco el fruto del esfuerzo, dedicación y el compromiso de todos, motivo por el cual nos es grato compartir nuestro crecimiento de una manera humilde, sencilla, pero con gran alegría.<\/p>\n

Logramos pasar de una producción conservadora de 300 t a 1000 t por mes, mostrando día a día señales de crecimiento: un reto en un país en donde la construcción es cambiante, sujeta a la mejora continua, con características que la convierten en exigente. El poder compartir este pequeño resultado es satisfactorio; compartir la búsqueda del éxito nos llena de alegría a cada uno de los compañeros de este gran grupo, de esta gran familia.<\/p>\n

Fortalecer cada día nuestra relación con nuestro socio comercial Arcelor Mittal nos recuerda una vez más que solo no se puede: sin el trabajo en equipo no se pueden lograr nuestras metas, nuestros objetivos. Es por eso que en AGF CR velamos por mantener una comunicación abierta, de familia.<\/p>\n

Esta relación nos permite participar en diferentes actividades de promoción en la Cámara Costarricense de la Construcción, en donde somos socios activos. Ahora mismo nos preparamos para participar en la feria de EQUIMAQ, feria importantísima del sector de la construcción. Durante tres días estaremos participando en charlas y en la exhibición de nuestros productos con nuestro stand ubicado en la feria.<\/p>\n

Igualmente, el apoyo de nuestra matriz ha sido fundamental para nuestro crecimiento. No podemos dejar de lado todo el aporte de nuestros compañeros en Canadá; sin ellos nada de esto se puede lograr. Agradecemos a cada uno de ellos por su aporte, por sus colaboraciones, por interesarse en apoyarnos.<\/p>\n

Durante este periodo de crecimiento, hemos logrado trabajar en diferentes segmentos de la construcción, hemos ganado proyectos en diferentes ámbitos: residencial, universitario, condominios, portuarios, puentes e hidroeléctricos —entre otros— tanto públicos como privados de gobierno, los cuales nos permiten promocionarnos y hacernos sentir en el país.<\/p>\n

Actualmente, AGF CR termina el proyecto hidroeléctrico Chucas, de interés nacional, trabajando para la transnacional ENNEL POWER. Igualmente, desarrolla el proyecto Centro de Control, proyecto de gobierno propiedad del Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, en el cual se está instalando el control general y la administración de todos los sistemas eléctricos del país, proyecto con un estándar de calidad y complejidad, de total confidencialidad.<\/p>\n

Así mismo, en AGF CR, teniendo presente nuestro origen, tratamos de acercarnos cada día más a las actividades de la Embajada de Canadá en Costa Rica, asistiendo y apoyando las actividades que se desarrollan, desayunos, reuniones, actividades en general. El apoyo ha sido abierto, positivo; el personal de la embajada, así como su misión comercial, siempre está dispuesto a colaborar y a respaldarnos. Muestra de esto es el poder celebrar el “Canada Day” junto a otras compañías como AIR CANADA, la Fundación Costa Rica-Canadá y el mismo embajador en una cena de gala.<\/p>\n

Es poco lo que hemos logrado de lo mucho que aún nos espera, pero sabemos que juntos y trabajando en equipo, lograremos nuestro Norte y podremos alcanzar el éxito.<\/p>\n
