{"id":43496,"date":"2016-12-05T16:20:00","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T21:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/agf-access-montreal-helps-the-community"},"modified":"2025-08-08T14:49:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T18:49:11","slug":"agf-access-montreal-helps-the-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/foundation\/agf-access-montreal-helps-the-community","title":{"rendered":"AGF Access Montreal helps the community"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>For the past five years, AGF Access Montreal has been a proud contributor to the Montreal&rsquo;s firefighters&rsquo; Christmas basket initiative, providing storage scaffolding free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Some facts and figures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>70,000 tonnes of food distributed<\/li>\n<li>baskets distributed to 1,350 Montreal families<\/li>\n<li>$250\/basket<\/li>\n<li>3,000 gifts for children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout the year, the firefighters raise funds directly on the street. Supported by their sponsors and volunteers&rsquo; efforts, they ensure all proceeds go directly to the Christmas baskets. Thanks to our sponsorship this year, the firefighters were able to distribute an additional 200 baskets, something we are very proud of.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/UgZxAJ7wams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> to view a video (dating from 2013, but will give you a sense of the scope of the initiative)!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-1953.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2><strong>AGF Acc&egrave;s Montreal al servicio de la comunidad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Desde hace ya cinco a&ntilde;os, AGF Acc&egrave;s Montreal contribuye orgullosamente al evento de canastas navide&ntilde;as organizado por la asociaci&oacute;n de bomberos de Montreal, prest&aacute;ndoles andamios para su almacenamiento.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci&oacute;n, la operaci&oacute;n de canastas navide&ntilde;a en cifras:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>70&nbsp;000&nbsp;t de alimentos<\/li>\n<li>1350 familias en la isla de Montreal que lo disfrutan<\/li>\n<li>250&nbsp;CAD\/por canasta<\/li>\n<li>3000 obsequios para los ni&ntilde;os<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los bomberos de Montreal recaudan el dinero directamente en las calles durante el a&ntilde;o. Gracias a sus patrocinadores y al trabajo de los voluntarios, todo el dinero va directamente a las canastas navide&ntilde;as. Gracias a nuestro financiamiento este a&ntilde;o, los bomberos pudieron entregar 200&nbsp;canastas adicionales.
