Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

We wanted to let you know that we are in the process of finalizing the Félix Bulnes hospital project in Santiago, Chile.<\/p>\n

Torres Ocaranza AGF SpA worked with the Italian company Astaldito to install 12,000 tonnes of high-adhesion steel? à haute adérence, much to the customer’s satisfaction.<\/p>\n

To secure the engineers’ approval for the prefabrication of the pillars for the project, we had to comply with Chile’s strict seismic building codes. It is a simple adaptation to superimpose the pillars in the centre of the span, but this technique had never before been used in Chile, where pillars are usually installed 12 metres apart on site, superimposed in different sections.<\/p>\n

We obtained approval from the Spanish construction company OHL to use this same technique for the new hospital project we will soon be working on in the city of Curicó (9,000 tonnes).<\/p>\n

In addition, we have just received some good news: the Chilean-Peruvian consortium DVC-Cosapi has hired us to work on the construction of a shopping centre in Arica.  The project, which calls for 4,000 tonnes of steel, will be built 2,000 km north of Santiago du Chili, slated for completion in a maximum of seven months.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to securing other hospital projects for 22,000 tonnes in the middle of 2017.<\/p>\n

El Hospital Félix Bulnes proyecto<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Buenos días:<\/p>\n

Deseo informarles que estamos a punto de finalizar el proyecto del Hospital Félix Bulnes en Santiago de Chile.<\/p>\n

Hemos trabajado para la empresa italiana Astaldi, junto con quien Torres Ocaranza AGF SpA ha instalado, con éxito y satisfacción del cliente, 12 000 t de acero corrugado.<\/p>\n

Nos hemos tenido que adaptar a la estricta norma sísmica chilena a fin de conseguir la aprobación de la ingeniería para prefabricar los pilares del proyecto. Se trata de una adaptación sencilla para solapar los pilares en el centro del vano, pero no ha sido utilizada antes en Chile, en donde se tiene la costumbre de hacer los pilares in situ<\/em> a doce metros y con solape en diferentes secciones.<\/p>\n

\"\"Hemos recibido la aprobación de la constructora española OHL para trabajar de la misma forma en el nuevo proyecto hospitalario que estamos a punto de comenzar en la ciudad de Curicó (9000 t).<\/p>\n

Además, acabamos de recibir la buena noticia de que el consorcio chileno-peruano DVC-Cosapi nos ha contratado para participar en la construcción de un centro comercial en Arica. Se trata de un proyecto de 4000 t a 2000 km de Santiago, el cual debe realizarse en un plazo máximo de siete meses.<\/p>\n
