Each year the AGF-Rebar Inc. (Albrecht Division) participates in the JDRF Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes.<\/p>\n

JDRF stands for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF’s research is committed to improving the lives of people with Type 1 diabetes and working towards finding a cure. The organization’s events are held throughout the Country and support three basic areas: cure, treat and prevent. Our team is very passionate about the cause and in most cases diabetes touches all of us.\"\"<\/p>\n

This year our team joined over 40,000 Canadians in walking for a cure for Type 1 diabetes.<\/p>\n

Through support from our customers, employees and friends, Team Albrecht raised $4,500! <\/p>\n

The event hosts a variety of activities for all members of your family, such as: bouncy castles, live music, face painting, video game stations, a popcorn stand, dog treat stations for your furry family members and a celebratory finish line BBQ. <\/p>\n

It’s a fun filled day for everyone who support such an amazing cause. In addition to raising funds, team Albrecht also works towards informing others about JDRF and spreading the word that we CAN find a cure and that we WILL find a cure, step by step.<\/p>\n

This event wouldn’t be possible without our unbelievably organized team captain Janet Hurley! Janet’s enthusiasm and persistence guides our team to a winning finish every time. Lorentz Construction, Diplock Floor, Aquicon Construction, Gen-Pro, Complete Cutting & Coring, Collaborative Structures, Kast Concrete, GS Wark, Bulldog rebar and more. <\/p>\n

We are all lucky that we have such a huge support system provided to us through our AGF team, our loyal customers and friends. Next year, our goal is to spread the word to other AGF locations to get them involved in the JDRF Walks near them!<\/p>\n

El equipo Albrecht hace una caminata por la cura<\/h2>\n

Cada año, AGF-Rebar Inc. (División Albrecht) participa en la Caminata por la cura “JDRF Telus”.<\/p>\n

Las investigaciones de la JDRF (Fundación de Investigación de la Diabetes Juvenil, por sus siglas en inglés) están dedicadas a mejorar la vida de las personas que padecen diabetes Tipo 1 y buscar una cura. Los eventos de la organización son realizados en todo el país y apoyan tres áreas básicas: la cura, el tratamiento y la prevención. Nuestro equipo está bastante dedicado a la causa y, en la mayoría de los casos, la diabetes nos afecta a todos. <\/p>\n

Este año nuestro equipo se unió a 40 000 canadienses en la Caminata por la cura de la diabetes Tipo 1. Gracias al apoyo de clientes, empleados y amigos, el equipo Albrecht recaudó 4500 CAD! <\/p>\n

El evento cuenta con una variedad de actividades para todos los miembros de su familia, como castillos inflables, música en vivo, pintura facial, estaciones de videojuegos, un puesto de palomitas de maíz, estaciones con premios para perros, para consentir a los miembros peludos de su familia ¡y una parrillada de celebración en la meta! Es un día divertido para todos y apoya a una gran causa. Además de recaudar fondos, Albrecht también trabaja para informarles a los demás sobre JDRF y correr la voz de que PODEMOS encontrar una cura y LO HAREMOS, paso a paso.<\/p>\n
