We are pleased to announce that AGF Rebar has officially passed its COR audit with an 89%. <\/p>\n

You said COR?<\/em><\/p>\n

COR Audit consists on a comprehensive and detailed review of the employer’s health and safety management system. By achieving COR™, employers are able to demonstrate to buyers of construction that their health and safety management system has been developed, implemented, and evaluated on an annual basis through comprehensive internal and external audits.<\/p>\n

It was very important for AGF Rebar to access that certification because security is a major concern for the direction. Besides, some buyers of construction can make COR™ a requirement for contractors bidding on jobs. They want to be sure we have perfect health and safety standards before awarding the contract.<\/p>\n

There are 19 elements verified by the COR™ Audit. Thirteen are common to all of the provinces and six other elements are specific to Ontario.<\/p>\n
