I’ve known Kenneth since I first joined AGF Group.  
\nHe was working as plant manager in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, overseeing the rebar supply for the Hebron project. I met him in February 2013, when I travelled to Newfoundland. Together, we toured the production plant, which was built for Hebron and staffed by new employees who had to be trained to work with rebar. 
\nTraining was provided by Jules Paulin, Gabriel Bonin and a few employees from AGF Group, to ensure that rebar could be delivered to the Hebron site on time.  <\/p>\n

Kenneth played a key role in the success of this project, braving Newfoundland’s inclement weather, which, as we know, can be capricious. 
\nHe skillfully managed the relationship with our customer and the unexpected imponderables at the plant to ensure the company’s success. He was open to discussions about health and safety, and was always cooperative. He is attentive, analyzes situations and likes to discuss before taking action. He’s a team player and likes to consult his team members before making decisions. Kenneth doesn’t keep track of the hours he works, and we’ve had a number of discussions at all hours of the day and night. <\/p>\n

This plant has performed well in health and safety, with no accidents resulting in lost time in two years of operation!  Moreover, the Kenneth has welcomed the customer to the plant many times, in addition to ensuring efficient delivery and maintaining a commendable health and safety record.  <\/p>\n

I’m telling you about Kenneth today because I’m so impressed by what we have achieved together during this project. 
\nI often run into him at the head office, and he still talks to me about health and safety!  <\/p>\n

Kenneth is from Africa and, naturally, I teased him about his experiences with Mother Nature in Newfoundland. The weather never prevented him from doing a great job, both in production and in health and safety. <\/p>\n

Thanks for your tireless efforts, Kenneth. We look forward to working on many more big projects together!<\/p>\n

¿Quién es Kenneth Tanimomo?<\/h2>\n

Conocí a Kenneth cuando empecé a trabajar en Grupo AGF.
\nKenneth trabajaba como administrador en la fábrica de Mount Pearl en Terranova y Labrador para supervisar el abastecimiento de acero de refuerzo para el proyecto Hebron. Así fue que en febrero de 2013 fui a Terranova y Labrador y conocí a Kenneth. Visitamos juntos la fábrica de producción, la cual fue constituida para la obra de Hebron y estaba compuesta de empleados nuevos a los que había que capacitar en el área de acero de refuerzo. 
\nLa capacitación se realizó en compañía de Jules Paulin, Gabriel Bonin y algunos empleados que venían de Grupo AGF con el fin de que el acero de refuerzo se entregara a tiempo en la obra de Hebron.<\/p>\n

Kenneth participó ampliamente en el éxito de este proyecto, desafiando las bien conocidas inclemencias del tiempo de la provincia de Terranova y Labrador.
\nKenneth supo manejar las relaciones con nuestro cliente y los imponderables de la fábrica para garantizar el éxito de la empresa. Siempre demostró una actitud abierta para discutir la salud y la seguridad y siempre colaboró de la mejor manera posible. Es una persona atenta, que analiza las situaciones y le gusta discutir antes de actuar. Trabaja en equipo y le gusta consultar a los miembros de su equipo antes de tomar decisiones. Kenneth no cuenta las horas de trabajo, por lo que tuvimos muchas discusiones profesionales a diferentes horas del día o de la noche.
\nEsta fábrica tuvo buenos resultados en cuanto a la salud y la seguridad ya que no hubo ningún accidente de trabajo con pérdida de tiempo ¡en dos años de operaciones! Asimismo, el cliente visitó la fábrica en muchas ocaciones y Kenneth supo controlar la situación manteniendo una eficacia de entrega con un nivel de salud y seguridad más que apreciable.<\/p>\n

Hoy les hablo de Kenneth porque estoy realmente impresionado por lo que logramos juntos durante este proyecto.
\nImaginen que con frecuencia me cruzo con Kenneth en la sede social ¡y todavía me habla de salud y seguridad! <\/p>\n

Kenneth es de origen africano y por supuesto que le hice bromas al respecto cuando enfrentó a la madre naturaleza en Terranova y Labrador. La temperatura nunca le impidió mostrar un buen desempeño tanto en la producción como en salud y seguridad.<\/p>\n

¡Felicidades por tu trabajo arduo y espero que tengamos todavía muchos proyectos de gran envergadura!<\/p>\n
