For the past few months, our new innovation department has been making the rounds within AGF, introducing you to curious concepts such as lean, ishikawa, poka-yoke and seiketsu.
\nYour first question was, “Whatever are they talking about?” In any case, they’re not new Pokémon names for your kids. But what are they then?
\nThis month, we are going to focus on the notion of “poka-yoke.” <\/p>\n

What is poka-yoke?<\/h3>\n

Poka-yoke is a Japanese term that means “mistake proofing.” Its purpose is to eliminate anomalies in products or processes, prevent and correct human errors, or draw attention to them when they do occur. <\/p>\n

What are they used for?
\nPoka-yokes can be integrated at any point in a process to prevent mistakes and create visual indicators that contribute to the process. 
\nA common example is the possibility for a computer program to prevent the user from issuing a command if any essential information is missing. \"\"
\nIn short, poka-yokes prevent production errors inherent in processes. The benefits are improvements to quality, productivity, cycle times, production timeframes, incidences of anomalies and costs. <\/p>\n

Who are they aimed at?<\/h3>\n

Anyone who uses one of your processes can use a poka-yoke. It must be created by the project team as part of process development. <\/p>\n

Minuto innovación: el poka-yoke<\/h2>\n

Desde hace varios meses, el nuevo departamento de Innovación se está dando a conocer en AGF. Poco a poco, nos presenta nociones curiosas: lean, ishikawa, poka-yoke, seiketsu, etc.
\nPrimero todos nos preguntábamos de qué nos hablaban. En todo caso no se trata de nuevos nombres de Pokémon para sus niños. ¿De qué se trata entonces?
\nEste mes le vamos a poner atención a la noción de poka-yoke. <\/p>\n

¿Qué es Poka-yoke?<\/h3>\n

Poka-yoke (o desengaño) es un término japonés que significa “a prueba de errores”. El objetivo de este concepto es eliminar las anomalías de los productos o de los procedimientos previniendo y corrigiendo los errores humanos o incluso hacerlos notar cuando se produzcan.<\/p>\n

¿Para qué sirve?<\/h3>\n

Los poka-yoke pueden ser integrados en cualquier lugar de un procedimiento para prevenir los errores y crear indicadores visuales que contribuyan al procedimiento.
\nUn ejemplo común de poka-yoke es la posibilidad de que un programa informático evite que un usuario envíe un pedido si falta uno de los elementos esenciales de información.<\/p>\n

En resumen, los poka-yoke evitan la producción de errores inherentes a los procedimientos. ¿Los beneficios? Mejorar la calidad, la productividad, los tiempos de ciclo, los plazos, la incidencia de anomalías y los costos.<\/p>\n

¿A quién se dirige?<\/h3>\n

Cualquiera que utilice uno de sus procedimientos puede servirse de un poka-yoke. Deben ser creados por el equipo de proyecto durante la elaboración de procedimientos. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
