Our company is pursuing growth and innovation, and has adapted to an evolving market in the past few decades.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To sustain our growth and to ensure we are continually optimizing our organizational efficacy, we have made some changes in recent months.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First, as we&rsquo;ve already told you in other articles, we have created a brand new department dedicated to innovation. There are many projects under way in our divisions, the benefits of which will soon become apparent. We will have more to tell you in an upcoming issue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We then reorganized the structure of our North American Steel sector. This entailed new appointments:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gabriel Bonin, Eng. has been appointed vice-president, operations. As such, he will supervise the operations of the Eastern Canada divisions and subsidiaries from our offices in Longueuil. Daniel Matte becomes general manager of Acier AGF-Division Ecan in Quebec City.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Sylvain Vaillancourt has been named to the newly created position of vice-president, commercial affairs. He is now responsible for sales in Eastern Canada and for steel procurement across Canada. He supervises a unified team of estimators in Ottawa, Longueuil, Trois-Rivi&egrave;res, Quebec City, Sherbrooke and Caraquet.<\/li>\n<li>To assist him in his duties, &Eacute;ric St-Amant, Eng. has been appointed commercial director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout the process, we have ensured that the transition is harmonious so that our colleagues, customers and partners can continue to carry out their activities normally. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With these changes, AGF Group Inc. is supporting its growth and upholding its commitment to provide service of impeccable quality.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2033.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Cambios en el sector Acero del Grupo AGF<\/h2>\n<p>En 2018, el Grupo AGF festejar&aacute; sus 70 a&ntilde;os. Nuestra empresa crece, innova y ha sabido adaptarse a la evoluci&oacute;n del mercado en estas &uacute;ltimas d&eacute;cadas.<\/p>\n<p>Para mantener este crecimiento y para asegurarnos de optimizar continuamente nuestra eficacia organizacional, se han realizado algunos cambios durante estos &uacute;ltimos meses.<\/p>\n<p>Para empezar, como ya lo hemos mencionado en otros art&iacute;culos, hemos creado un nuevo departamento dedicado a la innovaci&oacute;n. Varios proyectos ya est&aacute;n en curso en nuestras divisiones y pronto empezar&aacute;n a verse los efectos positivos. Les hablaremos al respecto en una pr&oacute;xima edici&oacute;n.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci&oacute;n, hemos realizado una reorganizaci&oacute;n de la estructura organizacional del sector Acero del Grupo AGF de Norteam&eacute;rica, la cual ha dado como resultado los siguientes nombramientos:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gabriel Bonin, Ing., ha sido nombrado Vicepresidente, Explotaci&oacute;n. Supervisa las actividades de las divisiones y de las sucursales del Este de Canad&aacute; a partir de nuestras oficinas en Longueuil.
