At the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s annual general meeting in late September, Christiane Bergevin was appointed to chair the Chamber’s board of directors.<\/p>\n

Currently director of Yamana Gold, a Canadian-based precious metals producer active in Canada and South America, Ms. Bergevin also serves on many boards, including AGF Group. <\/p>\n

“The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a vital connection between business and the federal government. It helps shape public policy and decision-making to the benefit of businesses, communities and families across Canada with a network of over 450 chambers of commerce and boards of trade, representing 200,000 businesses of all sizes in all sectors of the economy and in all regions.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

A finales de septiembre, durante la Asamblea General Anual de la Cámara de Comercio de Canadá, la Sra. Christiane Bergevin fue nombrada nueva Presidenta del Consejo de Administración de la Cámara.<\/p>\n

Actualmente Directora de Yamana Gold, un productor canadiense de metales preciosos activo en Canadá y en Sudamérica, Christiane Bergevin también se ocupa de varios consejos de administración, entre ellos el del Grupo AGF.<\/p>\n

“La Cámara de Comercio de Canadá es el lazo vital entre las empresas y el gobierno federal.
