Last November, Bob Mc Millan, the president of the Sarnia Street Machines died. For over 20 years he contributed to raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and hosting what has become nationally recognized car shows.<\/p>\n

His son Kip (Purchasing Manager at AGF Access in Sarnia) and his family gathered a few weeks ago to honour one of his final wishes.<\/p>\n

“He wanted to do something to give back to the community… he wanted to raise money for Pathways,” said Kip McMillan.<\/p>\n

This is why the Sarnia Street Machines hot rod and classic car club held the « Bob McMillan Cruise and Poker Run Sunday » to raise money for Pathways Health Centre for Children.<\/p>\n

Last September, their event attracted 156 participants and make them raise over $4000 for the cause!<\/p>\n

Tributo al deseo de Bob McMillan<\/h2>\n

El pasado noviembre, falleció Bob McMillan, presidente de Sarnia Street Machines. Por más de veinte años contribuyó a recaudar decenas de miles de dólares para las obras de beneficencia locales y para organizar la nacionalmente famosa exhibición automovilística.<\/p>\n

Su hijo Kip (Gerente de Compras en AGF Access en Sarnia) y su familia se reunieron hace algunas semanas para honorar uno de sus deseos finales.
\n“Quería hacer algo para la comunidad… quería recaudar fondos para Pathways”, comenta Kip MacMillan.<\/p>\n

Es por esta razón que el club de autos deportivos y clásicos de Sarnia Street Machines organizó el “Bob McMillan Cruise” y el “Poker Run Sunday” para recaudar fondos para el Centro de Salud Infantil Pathways. <\/p>\n

El septiembre pasado, atrajeron a 156 participantes ¡y lograron recaudar 4000 CAD para la causa!
