Some of you may remember in Fall of 2016 the AGF family was devastated by the loss of one of our own. John MacQuarrie from the DMC Division was in a terrible motorcycle accident that took his life. Before leaving us however he gave the world an amazing gift in the way of his pregnant wife Shauna.<\/p>\n

On January 19th, 2017 Johnathan Jr. was born healthy, happy and full of his father’s spirit. Shauna was gracious enough to accept our request to help, so the AGF family banded together to raise money and items for the new born baby. Together we were able to make a difficult time just a little easier on Shauna and it showed us all how very precious life is.<\/p>\n

I reached out to Shauna recently and she sent us an update and some photos of Johnathan Jr. In one of the photos from his 6 month photo shoot, little Johnny is wearing his Dad’s hat and has his wedding ring around his neck. Shauna passed along this quote ”(I) miss my husband and little Johnny’s Dad everyday but we know he is with us”. Shauna and Johnathan Jr. are doing well and living life to the fullest by appreciating each and every moment. They both send us their smiles and thanks again.<\/p>\n

Algunos de ustedes tal vez recuerden que en el otoño de 2016 la familia AGF estaba devastada por la pérdida de uno de los nuestros. John MacQuarrie de la división DMC sufrió un terrible accidente automovilístico que le costó la vida. Sin embargo, antes de dejarnos le dio al mundo un maravilloso regalo: su esposa Shauna estaba embarazada.<\/p>\n

El 19 de enero de 2017 nació Johnathan Jr., saludable, feliz y lleno del espíritu de su padre. Shauna aceptó elegantemente nuestra ayuda: la familia AGF se reunió y recaudó fondos y artículos para el bebé recién nacido. Juntos pudimos hacer que un momento difícil fuera un poco más fácil para Shauna y nos demostró a todos lo valioso que es la vida.<\/p>\n

Me comuniqué con Shauna recientemente y nos envió noticias y algunas fotografías de Johnathan Jr. En una de las fotografías de cuando tenía seis meses, el pequeño Johnny trae puesto el sombrero de su papá y su anillo de bodas colgado en el cuello. Shauna nos dijo: “Todos los días extraño a mi esposo y papá de Johnny, pero sabemos que está con nosotros.” Shauna y Johnathan Jr. están bien y viviendo su vida al máximo, apreciando cada momento.<\/p>\n
