It was only his son&rsquo;s second day on the job and the incident occurred because nobody cared enough about Health &amp; Safety in his workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Since then Rob Ellis has spoken to hundreds of thousands of Canadians across the country about the importance of building a safer workplace.&nbsp; This is why Rob Ellis, MySafeWork and with the support of the OGCA, have created The League of Champions.&nbsp; As a member of the League of Champions, we are part of the solution, taking action to protect our employees from worksite incidents and injuries.<\/p>\n<p>As Champions, we at AGF Rebar have demonstrated our corporate commitment to safety excellences, holding ourselves accountable for the well-being of our workers, and leading the industry to embrace a higher standard in Health and Safety.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Together, with my personal support and our President Maxime Gendron, we will work to provide the tools needed to continuously improve safety and create a &ldquo;Safety Culture&rdquo; within AGF Rebar as well as throughout the province of Ontario.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2061.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Liga de Campeones<\/h2>\n<p>Hace diecis&eacute;is a&ntilde;os, Rob Ellis perdi&oacute; a su hijo en un tr&aacute;gico accidente de trabajo que pudo haber sido prevenido. Era solamente el segundo d&iacute;a de trabajo de su hijo y el accidente ocurri&oacute; porque nadie se preocup&oacute; lo suficiente por la Salud y Seguridad en el trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Desde entonces, Rob Ellis ha hablado ante cientos de miles de canadienses por todo el pa&iacute;s sobre la importancia de construir un lugar de trabajo m&aacute;s seguro. Es por esto que Rob Ellis, MySafeWork y la Asociaci&oacute;n de Contratistas Generales de Ontario (OGCA, por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s) han creado la Liga de Campeones.
