On December 22, Raoul Capuano retired after 36 years of service at Acier AGF in Longueuil. He began his career at Acier Gendron in November 1981 as a truck driver and continued to work in this position throughout his long career with the company.<\/p>\n

We can say, in a friendly way, that Raoul made an impression on several generations of employees (and management) with his strong but always well-founded views. He made his mark not only as a truck driver but as a leader in championing employees’ interests. He was also remarkably conscientious and notable for being a (very) early riser, often reporting to work at the plant by 2:30 or 3 a.m. to deliver the first trailers to the construction site.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the entire team, we wish him a great retirement and much happiness in the years ahead. We also hope he’ll be able to sleep in a little later so he can enjoy his evenings!<\/p>\n

Feliz jubilación Raoul<\/h2>\n

El pasado 22 de diciembre, Raoul Capuano se jubiló después de 36 años de servicio en Acier AGF, Longueuil. Empezó su carrera en Acier Gendron en noviembre de 1981 como conductor de camiones y mantuvo este puesto a lo largo de su larga carrera con la empresa.<\/p>\n

Podemos afirmar cortésmente que Raoul marcó varias generaciones de empleados (y de directores) por sus opiniones firmes, siempre con bases sólidas. Supo dejar su huella no solamente como conductor, sino también como líder defensor de los intereses de los empleados. También supo siempre causar una buena impresión por su asiduidad y su capacidad de levantarse temprano (muy temprano; con frecuencia llegando a la fábrica entre las 2:30 y las 3:00 de la mañana para dejar los primeros remolques en las obras).<\/p>\n

A nombre de todo el equipo, le deseamos una feliz jubilación y mucha felicidad en los años que vienen. También le deseamos que se levante más tarde ¡para que pueda disfrutar más la noche!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
