In the first quarter, we finished the separation of the IT environments with AGF Access. We then reorganized the IT Department into more specialized sub-teams to better respond to our organization&rsquo;s tech needs as they grow and diversify.<\/p>\n<p>We now have four major service areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>User Support and Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Business Applications<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Project Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>User Support and Collaboration is headed by Vincent Arsenault, with support from S&eacute;bastien Daignault and Mehdi Kaid Slimane. This team is the contact point for all tech requests submitted by AGF employees. It makes sure that each request is handled by the right specialist and that each requester is satisfied. Last year, the team received 3,204 requests, with an average satisfaction rating of 98.2%. Thanks to Vincent and his team!<\/p>\n<p>The Business Applications team, consisting of Razvan Scarlat and Jean-S&eacute;bastien Durocher, is responsible for developing the applications and automations required for the digitization of business procedures. From the new opportunity-management tool ProsperWorks CRM to new mobile timesheets for worksites&mdash;two solutions developed last year&mdash;the team is behind several new technologies at AGF. The digitization order book continues to expand: decidedly, 2018 will be digital!<\/p>\n<p>The Infrastructure team is led by Pascal Langlois, assisted by Dany Robichaud. This team deploys, maintains and develops the infrastructures that support the technological tools available at AGF. The team is responsible for the deployments of our new cross-Canada communications network, IP telephony, and backup and recovery in the event of a disaster.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, none of these initiatives would be possible without effective project management. While I am responsible for this service, it is shared by all of the team&rsquo;s members involved in various projects. This year, we already have 40 projects at the planning stage, more than 20 projects that were rolled out last year and are still ongoing, and dozens of others at the feasibility analysis stage. We have our work cut out for us!<\/p>\n<p>Here is a photo of the team taken at the go-karting activity this past November to celebrate the year&rsquo;s achievements, build ties among team members and, obviously, have a little fun.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2071.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Revisi&oacute;n del a&ntilde;o 2017 del equipo de TI de AGF<\/h2>\n<p>Empecemos con los buenos deseos de parte del equipo de TI, el cual les desea un buen a&ntilde;o con salud &iexcl;y sin ning&uacute;n problema de inform&aacute;tica!<\/p>\n<p>El a&ntilde;o pasado fue sin&oacute;nimo de renovaci&oacute;n para nosotros. Durante el primer semestre, terminamos la separaci&oacute;n de los ambientes inform&aacute;ticos con AGF Acc&egrave;s. Despu&eacute;s, reorganizamos el Departamento de TI en subequipos m&aacute;s especializados para poder responder mejor a las necesidades tecnol&oacute;gicas de nuestra organizaci&oacute;n, las cuales se cruzan y se diversifican.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora contamos con cuatro grandes ejes de servicios de TI:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apoyo al usuario y Colaboraci&oacute;n<\/li>\n<li>Soluciones de negocios<\/li>\n<li>Infraestructura<\/li>\n<li>Gesti&oacute;n de proyectos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El equipo de Apoyo al usuario y Colaboraci&oacute;n est&aacute; dirigido por Vincent Arsenault, apoyado por S&eacute;bastien Daignault y Mehdi Kaid Slimane. Este equipo es la puerta de entrada de todas las solicitudes tecnol&oacute;gicas de los empleados de AGF y se asegura de que cada solicitud sea tratada por el especialista adecuado, adem&aacute;s de ocuparse de la satisfacci&oacute;n de cada uno de los solicitantes. El a&ntilde;o pasado se realizaron 3204 solicitudes con un promedio de satisfacci&oacute;n de 98.2%. &iexcl;Gracias a Vincent y a su equipo!<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de Soluciones de negocios est&aacute; compuesto por Razvan Scarlat y Jean-S&eacute;bastien Durocher. Tiene la responsabilidad de desarrollar las aplicaciones y las automatizaciones solicitadas para la transformaci&oacute;n digital de los procedimientos de negocios. Ya sea que pensemos en la nueva herramienta de gesti&oacute;n de oportunidades ProsperWorks CRM o en las nuevas hojas de tiempo m&oacute;viles para las obras (dos soluciones desarrolladas el a&ntilde;o pasado), es este equipo quien est&aacute; detr&aacute;s de diversas novedades tecnol&oacute;gicas en AGF. La hoja de solicitudes de digitalizaci&oacute;n no deja de crecer&hellip; &iexcl;el 2018 ser&aacute; digital!<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de Infraestructura es dirigido por Pascal Langlois, quien es apoyado por Dany Robichaud. Este equipo se asegura de desplegar, mantener y hacer evolucionar todas las infraestructuras que apoyan las herramientas tecnol&oacute;gicas disponibles en AGF. Ya sea que pensemos en nuestra red de comunicaci&oacute;n pancanadiense, en la telefon&iacute;a IP, en los respaldos o incluso en el recubrimiento en caso de desastre, este equipo se encuentra detr&aacute;s de todo esto.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, todas estas iniciativas no podr&iacute;an ponerse en pr&aacute;ctica sin una Gesti&oacute;n de proyectos eficaz, un servicio que est&aacute; principalmente bajo mi responsabilidad aunque sea compartida por todos los miembros del equipo que participan en un proyecto u otro.
