AGF Group is proud to announce that we have been awarded a contract to build the West White Rose Oil Platform in Newfoundland and Labrador.<\/p>\n

Specifically, AGF will participate in the construction of the concrete gravity structure (CGS) and will be responsible for cutting, bending and delivering approximately 16,000 MT of reinforcing steel.<\/p>\n

The contract will begin in March 2018 and will run for a period of 24 months. AGF will set up a dedicated plant in St John to complete the project.<\/p>\n

Based on its experience on the Hibernia (1996) and Hebron (2016) oilfields construction, the AGF Group is pleased to have the chance to demonstrate once again its expertise on this large-scale project.<\/p>\n

Technical data<\/h3>\n

The platform will be built in dry dock at Argentia.
\nThe concrete gravity structure will have a diameter of 122 meters, will be composed of 76,000 m3 of concrete and will weigh 210,000 tonnes. It will be surmounted by a topside module that will allow the drilling and extraction of oil.<\/p>\n

Once built, the CGS will be moved offshore to the White Rose oil field, approximately 350 kilometers east of St. John’s.<\/p>\n

Contrato nuevo: Plataforma de West White Rose<\/h2>\n

Grupo AGF anuncia orgullosamente la obtención de un contrato para la construcción de la plataforma petrolera de West White Rose en Terranova y Labrador.
\nEspecíficamente, AGF participará en la realización de la plataforma de concreto por gravedad y estará a cargo del corte, plegado y entrega de aproximadamente 16 000 t de acero de refuerzo.<\/p>\n

El contrato iniciará en marzo de 2018 y se distribuirá en un periodo de 24 meses. AGF montará una fábrica dedicada a la realización de este proyecto en San Juan de Terranova.<\/p>\n

Con una gran experiencia adquirida en las obras petroleras de Hibernia (1996) y Hebron (2016), el Grupo AGF se siente afortunado de poder demostrar nuevamente sus conocimientos especializados en este proyecto de gran envergadura.<\/p>\n

Información técnica<\/h3>\n

La plataforma será construida en dique seco en Argentia. 
\nLa plataforma de concreto por gravedad tendrá un diámetro de 122 m, estará compuesta de 76 000 m3 de concreto y pesará 210 000 t. Será coronada con un módulo de instalaciones en la superficie, el cual permitirá la perforación y la extracción de petróleo.<\/p>\n

Una vez construida, la plataforma será remolcada hasta el campo petrolífero de White Rose, a aproximadamente 350 km de San Juan de Terranova. <\/p>\n
