We are pleased to inform you that after intensive negotiations with the Lima Metro Consortium over the past two years, we signed a contract on May 28. Serge Gendron, president of AGF Group Inc., made a quick trip to Lima for the occasion.<\/p>\n

As part of this contract, AGF Peru will take part in the fabrication and installation of 100% of the rail segments (22,000 MT) and 25% of the metro stations (56,000 MT). The contract represents a total of $34 million US.<\/p>\n

We were also pleased to see that the production and productivity of our Peruvian shop, in the facilities of our local partner Gerdau-Sider Peru, continues to grow steadily. <\/p>\n

I would like to thank all the workers on our Peruvian team for their efforts and their commitment, which make this excellent work possible!<\/p>\n

In conclusion, thanks to the 26 engineering students from the University of Lima who visited us last week to learn about the industrial fabrication of rebar. During their visit, they showed great interest in the machines and how the workshop operates. <\/p>\n

Nuevo acuerdo para AGF Perú<\/h2>\n

Es un placer informarles que después de intensas negociaciones con el consorcio de la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima durante los dos últimos años, firmamos un acuerdo con ellos el 28 de mayo de 2018. El Sr. Gendron, Presidente de Grupo AGF Inc., hizo una visita relámpago a Lima para esta ocasión.<\/p>\n

En el contexto de este contrato, AGF Perú participará en la fabricación y en la instalación del 100% de los segmentos de los carriles (22 000 t) y en el 25% de las estaciones del metro de Lima (56 000 t). El monto total del contrato representa 34 millones de dólares estadounidenses.<\/p>\n

Por otra parte, nos alegra observar que la producción y la productividad de nuestro taller peruano, en las instalaciones de nuestro socio local Gerdau-Siderperu, continúa su crecimiento continuo.<\/p>\n

Deseo agradecerles a todos los trabajadores de nuestro equipo en Perú por sus esfuerzos y su dedicación, ¡los cuales permiten realizar este excelente trabajo!<\/p>\n

Para finalizar, agradezco sinceramente a los veintiséis estudiantes de ingeniería de la Universidad de Lima quienes nos visitaron la semana pasada para descubrir el procedimiento de fabricación industrial del acero de refuerzo.
