The idea behind this meeting was to give La Tabl&eacute;e des Chefs the opportunity to present itself in an intimate setting: its own cooking school. In order to concretely illustrate one of the organization&#8217;s missions, food recovery, chief trainer Patrick Emedy led a workshop demonstrating how to transform leftovers into delicious appetizers for anyone&#8217;s family and guests to enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>Serge Gendron and I took this opportunity to appraise the past year&#8217;s achievements (2017-2018), where 90% of revenues totalling $ 476,000 were redistributed in the community &#8211; the remaining 10% being wisely invested in an investment fund to protect the financial sustainability of the Foundation. In addition, more than 70 employee-generated activities were underlined: the amount raised, a grand total of $ 86,000, was entirely redistributed to various organizations chosen by the employees.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank all the participants and we hope to see you all again next year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2138.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Otra ocasi&oacute;n para conocerse<\/h2>\n<p>El pasado 11 de septiembre, el equipo de la Fundaci&oacute;n Grupo AGF celebr&oacute; su Asamblea General anual en los locales de su fiel socio, La Tabl&eacute;e des Chefs, en Longueuil. La idea era ofrecer la oportunidad de presentar este socio desde su privacidad: su escuela-cocina. Y para ilustrar de manera concreta una de sus misiones, la recuperaci&oacute;n alimentaria, el chef instructor Patrick Emedy anim&oacute; un taller para demostrar c&oacute;mo recuperar los restos que encontramos en nuestros refrigeradores y en la casa para preparar deliciosos bocados y poder ofrec&eacute;rselos a su familia &iexcl;o incluso a sus invitados!<\/p>\n<p>Serge Gendron y yo aprovechamos para hacer el balance de un a&ntilde;o 2017-2018 magn&iacute;fico, con ingresos de 476&nbsp;000&nbsp;CAD, redistribuidos a 90% de la comunidad; el 10% restante ser&aacute; sabiamente colocado en un fondo de inversiones para proteger la perpetuidad financiera de la Fundaci&oacute;n. Tambi&eacute;n se anunciaron m&aacute;s de 70 actividades realizadas por los empleados, las cuales originaron un total de ingresos de 86&nbsp;000&nbsp;CAD, redistribuidos a los organismos elegidos por los empleados mismos.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a nuestros participantes.
