It is with great pride that I announce AGF Group Foundation’s commitment towards CAMH (Center for Addiction and Mental Health).<\/p>\n

Starting in 2018 and for a period of 3 years, the Foundation will be donating $10,000 annually to CAMH. As Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital, CAMH sets standards for care, research, education and social change. Each year, more than 3,000 doctors, clinicians, researchers and teachers offer clinical care to over 34,000 patients. It goes without saying that CAMH plays a pivotal role in our community.<\/p>\n

This partnership will also be marking the starting point of a new approach at AGF, as CAMH and our National Health & Safety Director, Martin Logan, will combine their respective experience and expertise to equip AGF with a strategy for the promotion of mental health and the implementation of preventive efforts.<\/p>\n

CAMH is one of the five organizations with which the AGF Group Foundation has developed a partnership, the others being École Polytechnique de Montréal, La Tablée des Chefs, Montérégie Youth Centre, and Charles-Lemoyne Hospital.<\/p>\n

On November 1st<\/sup>, I had the chance to revisit CAMH’s magnificent facilities located in the heart of downtown Toronto, in the company of other members of the Foundation, namely Serge Gendron, Lindsay Roedding, Maxime Gendron and Martin Logan. This visit formalized our association.<\/p>\n

I hope you will have the curiosity to visit the site of CAMH. Let’s hope that you will also fall in love with this great team, completely dedicated, and that you will share this pride of being able to make a difference.<\/p>\n

La Fundación Grupo AGF y CAMH trabajan en equipo<\/p>\n

Es con gran orgullo que les anuncio el compromiso de la Fundación Grupo AGF con el Centro de toxicomanía y salud mental (CAMH, por sus siglas en inglés).<\/p>\n

Desde este año 2018, y durante tres años, la Fundación realizará un donativo anual de 10 000 CAD. Al ser el hospital de enseñanza de salud mental más grande de Canadá, el CAMH establece las normas en lo tocante a cuidados, investigación, enseñanza y cambio social. Cada año, más de 3000 doctores, clínicos, investigadores y profesores ofrecen cuidados clínicos a más de 34 000 pacientes. Esto prueba hasta qué grado su papel es primordial en nuestra comunidad.<\/p>\n

Al mismo tiempo, esta asociación marca el inicio de una innovación en AGF, ya que CAMH y nuestro director nacional de SST, Martin Logan, juntarán su experiencia y especialidades respectivas para proporcionarle a AGF una estrategia para promover la salud mental y su prevención.<\/p>\n

CAMH es uno de los cinco organismos con los que la Fundación Grupo AGF desarrolla una asociación. Los demás son la Escuela Politécnica de Montreal, “La Tablée des Chefs”, el Centro Juvenil de Montéregie y el Hospital Charles-Lemoyne.<\/p>\n

Acompañada del equipo de la Fundación, es decir Serge Gendron, Lindsay Roedding, Maxime Gendron y Martin Logan, tuve la oportunidad de volver a visitar las magníficas instalaciones de CAMH en el centro de Toronto el pasado primero de noviembre. Esta visita hace oficial nuestra asociación.<\/p>\n

Al momento de levantar nuestras copas para celebrar esta nueva asociación, cobró sentido desearnos “Salud”.<\/p>\n
