{"id":45484,"date":"2018-11-29T15:56:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-29T20:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/eglinton-crosstown-lrt-toronto"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:34:14","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:34:14","slug":"eglinton-crosstown-lrt-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/projects\/eglinton-crosstown-lrt-toronto","title":{"rendered":"Eglinton Crosstown LRT &#8211; Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"font-size:14px; font-style:italic\">With the collaboration of Ra&#8217;d Daoud and&nbsp;Dilan Warnapura<\/p>\n<p>AGF Rebar (Kitchener) has been mandated by the Crosslinx Transit Solution (CTS) consortium to supply, install and inspect reinforcing steel at several stations of the new light-rail transit project in Toronto: The Eglinton Crosstown LRT.<\/p>\n<p>This new public transport will move across 19&nbsp;km, will have 25 stations running east&mdash;west across the city, and will be 60% faster than a streetcar, a bus, or a downtown subway.<\/p>\n<p>AGF Rebar will supply&nbsp;a total of nearly 6,500&nbsp;MT of reinforcing steel for the Mount Pleasant, Caledonia and Chaplin stations.<\/p>\n<h3>Successful audit<\/h3>\n<p>Last September, CTS audited the work done by AGF Rebar on this project, more specifically regarding&nbsp;their involvement on Mount Pleasant.station.<\/p>\n<p>It was determined that the Kitchener team had successfully fulfilled its mandate by meeting the quality requirements of the client.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Based on the information collected (&hellip;), the auditors have concluded that AGF Rebar Inc.&rsquo;s Quality Assurance\/Quality Control Plan has been implemented effectively at the fabrication facility.
