On the 13th<\/sup> and 14th<\/sup> of December, the 5S project was initiated at both Armabec and AGF shops, where all employees received their 5S training.<\/p>\n

During this training, we took an in-depth look at each S included in this methodology, which uses a list of 5 Japanese words that describe how to organize a work space for efficiency, effectiveness and safety.<\/p>\n

A first cleanup was done by Marc Morin: storage space for old equipment and circulation areas were unobstructed, the most frequently used items were given a designated and identified storage location and, after thorough cleaning, walls were painted.<\/p>\n

In order to carry out the project, we will be working in collaboration with Jessy Clément, Simon Trépanier and Roberto Montanaro. Makram and I will accompany them for the application of the 5S methodology on the PRIMA 12 machine (steel cutting & bending machine).<\/p>\n

Reminder about the 5S<\/p>\n

Desde hace varios días, el proyecto 5S inició en las fábricas de Armabec y AGF. Los empleados siguieron una capacitación sobre esta herramienta el 13 y 14 de diciembre.<\/p>\n

Durante la capacitación, desarrollamos cada una de las eses del proyecto para que la organización del puesto de trabajo sea más segura y eficaz.<\/p>\n

El primer trabajo de limpieza fue realizado por Marc Morin: desapareció el espacio de almacenamiento de las máquinas viejas, se colocó el material de oficina más utilizado en un lugar designado e identificado, se liberaron los pasillos de circulación y, después de una limpieza, se volvieron a pintar los muros.<\/p>\n

Vamos a trabajar con un equipo compuesto por Jessy Clément, Simon Trépanier y Roberto Montanaro. Serán acompañados por Makram y por mí para implantar el 5S en la primera máquina: PRIMA 12 (dobladora y cortadora de acero).<\/p>\n
