On December 10, a few members of the Hydro-Mobile team had the privilege of attending a “La Belle Visite” event held at Le Faubourg, a residence for seniors in Repentigny. Several fundraising events were held in the last year in order to allow the Dr. Clown Foundation (a therapeutic clown program) to launch its “La Belle Visite” program in a long-term care residence for seniors with cognitive impairments. During these hour-long visits, we had the pleasure of being accompanied by the Director of Operations for the Dr. Clown Foundation.<\/p>\n

There are no words to describe how much happiness these visits bring to the seniors. They liven up, sing and laugh… The clowns are absolutely fabulous and know how to make themselves discreet when needed. They spread joy, even the employees seem happier in their presence.<\/p>\n

We witnessed some magical moments. A lady referred to the clowns as Christmas fairies. Even our presence seemed to bring a smile on some of the residents’ faces.<\/p>\n

It was a very rewarding and moving experience. We came out motivated to do our best to ensure that more seniors benefit from the “La Belle Visite” program in our beautiful region. <\/p>\n

Thank you Catherine for allowing us, through the AGF Group Foundation, to give back our communities and to make a difference.<\/p>\n

Una conmovedora experiencia<\/h2>\n

Algunos miembros de nuestro equipo de Hydro-Mobile tuvieron la suerte de asistir el pasado 10 de diciembre al evento “La bella visita” en la residencia Le Fauborg en Repentigny. Como recordatorio, habíamos organizado varias colectas de fondos el año pasado para permitirle a la Fundación Dr. Clown (que ofrece programas de payasos terapéuticos) lanzar el programa “La bella visita” en una residencia para personas de edad avanzada con pérdidas cognitivas. Durante estas dos visitas de una hora cada una, nos acompañó la directora principal de operaciones de la Fundación Dr. Clown.<\/p>\n

No hay palabras para describir la dicha de las personas que reciben estas visitas. Se animan, cantan y ríen… Los payasos son realmente fabulosos y discretos cuando es necesario. Siembran alegría; incluso el personal parece más feliz durante su presencia.<\/p>\n

Presenciamos momentos mágicos. Una dama incluso se refirió a los payasos como hadas navideñas. Algunas veces, hasta nuestra presencia como visitantes ¡parecía alegrar a ciertos residentes!<\/p>\n

Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora y también muy conmovedora. Salimos motivados para hacer todavía más y beneficiar todavía más personas de las visitas de “La bella visita” en nuestra bella región.<\/p>\n
