AGF Rebar in Kitchener was recently awarded two contracts by EBC for dam projects in Peterborough County, Ontario: Trent-Severn at Lock 23 and Trent Severn at Lock 24.<\/p>\n

Lock 24 is a concrete dam that was built approximately 100 years ago. The new dam will be safer and will be fitted with mechanized steel doors.<\/p>\n

Lock 23 takes boaters from Lakefield to Peterborough. The entire dam will be rebuilt to make way for a more durable and safer structure.<\/p>\n

AGF Rebar will supply and install rebar for the two projects. Work will start in the spring of 2019.<\/p>\n

Presas en Ontario<\/h2>\n

AGF Rebar en Kitchener recientemente obtuvo con EBC dos contratos relacionados con los proyectos de presas del Condado de Peterborough en Ontario: el “Trent-Severn en la esclusa 23” y el “Trent-Severn en la esclusa 24”.<\/p>\n

La esclusa 24 es una presa de concreto que se construyó hace casi un siglo. La nueva presa será más segura y tendrá puertas de acero mecanizadas.<\/p>\n

La esclusa 23 permite la circulación de los aficionados a la navegación entre Lakefield y Peterborough. La presa será reconstruida por completo para darle lugar a una nueva estructura más durable y segura.<\/p>\n

AGF Rebar va a abastecer y a instalar acero de refuerzo para estos dos proyectos. Los trabajos empezarán en la primavera de 2019.<\/p>\n
