In 2018, both the steel and access sectors had the opportunity to participate in major projects that played a pivotal role in the Canadian economy.<\/p>\n

The following is a list of some of these projects: Samuel de Champlain Bridge, West White Rose drilling platform, Muskrat Falls hydroelectric plant, Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit, IKEA distribution centre, Aéroports de Montréal parking facility, Bruce power plant, and many others.<\/p>\n

New Projects in Canada and India<\/h3>\n

Last year, we had the pleasure of welcoming new partners in British Columbia (Cobra Rebar Services—Steel sector) and in Quebec (IEQ and Noxxent—Access sector).<\/p>\n

With regard to AGF Access, we must highlight the admirable work of Daniel Champagne and his team who were able to ensure continuity in delivering orders, while carrying out a major automation and expansion project for our Hydro Mobile facilities in L’Assomption.<\/p>\n

In the international arena, I am proud of the implementation of AGF Tecnik in India. It will quickly become an essential support for our steel divisions in Canada and around the world (Get some news about AGF Tecnik here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Rest assured that I will devote all my energy to fuelling the virtuous circle of growth, profitability and sustainability throughout 2019.<\/p>\n

Grupo AGF, ¡siempre en movimiento!<\/h2>\n

En el 2018, tanto el sector acero como el sector acceso tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en proyectos de gran envergadura estructuradores para la economía canadiense. Nombraremos solamente algunos: el puente Samuel de Champlain, la plataforma de perforación de West White Rose, la central hidroeléctrica de Muskrat Falls, la línea de tren ligero de Eglinton Crosstown, la red exprés metropolitana, el centro de distribución de IKEA, el estacionamiento del Aeropuerto de Montreal, la central eléctrica de Bruce y varios más.<\/p>\n

Novedades en Canadá y en India<\/h3>\n

El año pasado, tuvimos el placer de recibir nuevos socios tanto en el sector de acero en Colombia Británica (Cobra Rebar Services) como en el sector de acceso en Quebec (IEQ y Noxxent).<\/p>\n

En cuanto al sector acceso, cabe señalar el admirable trabajo de Daniel Champagne y de su equipo, quienes se aseguraron de la continuidad en la entrega de pedidos mientras realizaban un proyecto importante de robotización y de ampliación de las instalaciones de Hydro-Mobile en L’Assomption.<\/p>\n

A escala internacional, me enorgullece la implantación de la filial de AGF Tecnik en India. Rápidamente se convertirá en un apoyo esencial para nuestras divisiones del sector acero en Canadá y el resto del mundo.<\/p>\n

Les aseguro que conservaré toda mi energía para alimentar el círculo virtuoso de crecimiento, rentabilidad y sostenibilidad en el 2019.<\/p>\n
