{"id":45648,"date":"2019-02-15T08:44:00","date_gmt":"2019-02-15T13:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/fibreco-project"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:34:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:34:53","slug":"fibreco-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/projects\/fibreco-project","title":{"rendered":"Fibreco project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Pending the completion of the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant, AGF was awarded and subsequently completed the 1350-tonne Fibreco project, also located in North Vancouver, British Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>Fibreco is a world leader in the transformation and recycling of wood pellets. Their process consists in converting wood fibre into small compact pellets, which represent an excellent source of fuel energy that can be exported to Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The project consisted in building steel-reinforced concrete platforms for Fibreco, on which 18 additional silos will be erected. Despite challenges such as a tight deadline and torrential rain, AGF has achieved excellent results, within budget and schedule!<\/p>\n<p>The job site had 3 platforms, each one built with 450 tons of steel containing 2600 cubic metres of concrete. Rebar installation began on October 29, 2018, and was completed on December 17, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>AGF rose to the challenge, thanks to the excellent performance of Vancouver Local 97 workers, under the supervision of AGF&rsquo;s Trent Guess.<\/p>\n<p>We would also like to highlight the precise work and timeliness of our new partner, Cobra Rebar, for both rebar fabrication and delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The success of this project is the result of unparalleled and flawless teamwork. GO TEAM AGF!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2181.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>En espera de la futura realizaci&oacute;n de la f&aacute;brica de tratamiento de aguas residuales de la Costa Norte, AGF obtuvo y realiz&oacute; el proyecto Fibreco de 1350 t, tambi&eacute;n ubicado al norte de Vancouver en Colombia Brit&aacute;nica.<\/p>\n<p>Fibreco es un l&iacute;der mundial en el reciclaje y la transformaci&oacute;n de viruta de madera. Su procedimiento consiste en convertir la fibra de madera en peque&ntilde;as pastillas compactas que se convierten en un excelente combustible energ&eacute;tico exportado al Oriente.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto consist&iacute;a en construir para Fibreco plataformas de concreto reforzado sobre las cuales se erigir&aacute;n dieciocho silos suplementarios. Dos grandes desaf&iacute;os de este proyecto fueron el corto plazo para ejecutar la instalaci&oacute;n de acero, as&iacute; como las lluvias torrenciales.<\/p>\n<p>&iexcl;AGF ha logrado excelentes resultados, dentro del presupuesto y el calendario! La obra contaba con tres plataformas. Cada una estaba montada con 450 t de acero conteniendo 2600 metros c&uacute;bicos de cemento. La instalaci&oacute;n del acero de refuerzo empez&oacute; el 29 de octubre de 2018 y se complet&oacute; el 17 de diciembre de 2018.<\/p>\n<p>AGF logr&oacute; superar el desaf&iacute;o brillantemente gracias al excelente desempe&ntilde;o de sus trabajadores del local 97 de Vancouver bajo la supervisi&oacute;n de Trent Guess de AGF. Subrayemos igualmente la precisi&oacute;n y la puntualidad de nuestro nuevo socio, Cobra Rebar, para la fabricaci&oacute;n y la entrega de acero de refuerzo.
