On January 31, Pierre Farah-Lajoie, Eng., M.A.Sc., retired after working more than ten years for AGF Group.<\/p>\n

Over the forty-five years following his graduation from École Polytechnique de Montréal with a degree in Engineering, Pierre earned a solid reputation in a multitude of fields: import\/export, logistics, transportation, aerospace, procurement, and many more. On top of being an independent businessman, he collaborated with many companies, such as Bombardier, SNC, Canadian International Development Agency, and, of course, AGF.<\/p>\n

At the start of his career with AGF Group, Pierre accepted a position in Abu Dhabi, where he stayed for 2 years, helping to set up one of the Group’s largest reinforcing steel factories. He also worked in collaboration with the Access sector in the course of special projects and, more recently, with the Innovation Department, which he himself created.<\/p>\n

Pierre is a visionary leader, familiar with the major trends in the industrial world, here and abroad, and possesses an excellent analytical mind. He is also very open-minded. We are grateful for having had the chance to work with him.<\/p>\n

I want to thank him for his good and loyal service during these 10 years. I wish him the best for the future.<\/p>\n

El pasado 31 de enero, Pierre Farah-Lajoie se jubiló después de haber trabajado una década en el Grupo AGF.<\/p>\n

Durante los cuarenta y cinco años después de la obtención de su diploma de ingeniero de la Escuela Politécnica de Montreal, Pierre se destacó en una multitud de áreas: en importación\/exportación, logística, transporte, aeronáutica, abastecimiento y muchas más. Trabajó en empresas que él mismo estableció y también para Bombardier, SNC, la ACDI y, por supuesto, AGF.<\/p>\n

Desde su inicio en Grupo AGF, Pierre aceptó un puesto en Abu Dabi, en donde permaneció dos años contribuyendo a implementar una de las más importantes fábricas de acero de refuerzo del Grupo. También trabajó en el sector Acceso para uno de los proyectos especiales y, más recientemente, en el Departamento de Innovación, que él mismo creó.<\/p>\n

Pierre es un profesional visionario, al tanto de las grandes tendencias del mundo industrial de aquí y de otras partes del mundo y está dotado de un excelente espíritu de análisis. Es una persona abierta y humana. Nos alegró mucho frecuentarlo.<\/p>\n
