Our Chilean subsidiary, Torres Ocaranza AGF SpA (TO AGF), recently signed a contract for 8,000 metric tons (MT) for the construction of two new adjacent hospitals: the Hospital of Salvador and the National Institute of Geriatrics, in the municipality of Providencia.<\/p>\n

This hospital will comprise 641 beds and 26 pavilions, and will benefit more than 500,000 people in the region.<\/p>\n

Work on behalf of Cosing, a local company, started on June 13th. In order to be ahead of the curve and execute the work in a timely manner (8 months), we have already started the work related to foundations and pillars.<\/p>\n

After this first phase, it will be possible for TO AGF to contract an additional 10,000 MT, depending on customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n

This is a good example of a project starting on solid ground.<\/p>\n

Nuevo proyecto en Chile<\/h3>\n

Nuestra filial chilena, Torres Ocaranza AGF SpA (TO AGF), recientemente obtuvo un contrato de 8000 t para la construcción de una obra pública que comprende dos nuevos hospitales adyacentes: el Hospital del Salvador y el Instituto Nacional de Geriatría, en la comuna de Providencia.<\/p>\n

Este centro hospitalario contará con 641 camas y 26 pabellones y beneficiará a más de 500 000 personas de la región.<\/p>\n

Los trabajos ejecutados por la cuenta de Cosing (empresa local) iniciaron el pasado 13 de junio. Para adelantar y estar en condiciones de ejecutar los trabajos en los plazos establecidos (ocho meses), ya se inició el trabajo relacionado con los cimientos y las columnas.<\/p>\n

Después de esta primera fase, será posible añadir 10 000 t adicionales, de acuerdo con la satisfacción del cliente.<\/p>\n

He ahí un buen ejemplo de un proyecto que empieza con bases sólidas.<\/p>\n
