I am always very happy when members of the AGF Group focus their efforts on developing the Foundation and sharing its mission in their community. Recently, when the Make-a-Wish Foundation approached us for financial support over a fixed period of time, the ambassadors from Ontario and Alberta quickly rallied around the cause. One of them, Sam Hammond, of AGF Rebar in Kitchener, became the spokesperson to submit the organization’s request to the Board of Directors of the AGF Group Foundation.<\/p>\n

Sam was convincing! <\/p>\n

As a result, the AGF Group Foundation will support Make-A-Wish Canada for the next 3 years, in the amount of $3,000 per year.<\/p>\n

Make-a-wish fulfills the wishes of children whose health is seriously threatened. When a “Wish Child” is chosen, his family has no expenses to pay for his project. It’s the Make-A-Wish team (employees and volunteers) who take care of everything and strive to exceed each child’s expectations and maximize the reach of their donations. Apoyo a “Make-A-Wish”<\/h3>\n

Siempre me siento muy contenta cuando son los miembros de Grupo AGF quienes concentran sus esfuerzos para desarrollar la Fundación e integrarla más en su comunidad. Es lo que sucedió recientemente cuando el organismo “Make-A-Wish” (“Pide un deseo”) nos contactó para pedirnos apoyo financiero por un periodo determinado. Los embajadores de Ontario y de Alberta se juntaron rápidamente para apoyar la causa y uno de ellos, Sam Hammond, de AGF Rebar en Kitchener, se convirtió en el portavoz de la causa ante los miembros del Consejo de Administración de la Fundación Grupo AGF.<\/p>\n

¡Sam fue muy convincente!<\/p>\n

Resultado: la Fundación Grupo AGF apoyará a “Make-A-Wish Canadá” durante los próximos tres años con 3000 CAD por año.<\/p>\n

“Make-A-Wish” realiza los deseos de los niños cuya salud se ve gravemente amenazada. Cuando un niño es elegido, su familia no tiene que pagar ningún gasto para realizar su proyecto. Es la gente del equipo de “Make-A-Wish” (empleados y voluntarios) quienes se ocupan de todo y quienes se activan para sobrepasar las expectativas de cada niño y así maximizar el alcance de los donativos.
