{"id":46238,"date":"2019-10-10T15:22:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T19:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/lean-six-sigma-certification"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:37:26","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:37:26","slug":"lean-six-sigma-certification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/innovation-2\/lean-six-sigma-certification","title":{"rendered":"Lean Six Sigma Certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>In September, Makram Saadi,eng., our advisor continuous improvement advisor, received his Lean Six Sigma certification (black belt) from the Universit&eacute; de Montr&eacute;al.<\/p>\n<p>This Lean Manufacturing qualification adds to his expertise in problem-resolution methodology: DMAIC&nbsp;(Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control)<\/p>\n<p><em>&ldquo;AGF Group is committed to ensuring the organization&rsquo;s sustainability through the ongoing improvement of its processes. With this in mind, I set myself the challenge of obtaining this certification. It was a tough course, both professionally and in its impact on my family life. My goal was to acquire the tools I need to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions,&rdquo;<\/em> says Makram.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of Lean Six Sigma methodology, adapted to AGF Group, are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain a better understanding of the Group&rsquo;s needs and find collaborative solutions with employees;<\/li>\n<li>Resolve problems of medium and high complexity in processes;<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate activities that have no added value;<\/li>\n<li>Heighten the company&rsquo;s competitiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marilyne Barbey,&nbsp;eng., director of Continuous Improvement, is pleased with Makram&rsquo;s achievement. A Lean Six Sigma black belt herself, she worked with Shakil Chowdhury, a young intern at AGF, to train him in this method at the yellow belt level over this past summer.<\/p>\n<p>Competence is of one AGF&#8217;s corporate&nbsp;value. Through training, the company affirms its desire to support its employees in developing their skills.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2234.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICACI&Oacute;N LEAN SIX SIGMA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Makram Saadi, ing., asesor en mejora continua, obtuvo en el mes de septiembre 2019 la certificaci&oacute;n Lean Six Sigma (nivel cintur&oacute;n negro), otorgado por la Universidad de Montreal.<\/p>\n<p>Esta certificaci&oacute;n en <em>Lean Manufacturing<\/em> le permiti&oacute; desarrollar sus conocimientos en cuanto a la metodolog&iacute;a de resoluci&oacute;n de problemas DMAMC (Definir, Medir, Analizar, Mejorar, Controlar).<\/p>\n<p><em>&ldquo;Grupo AGF se comprometi&oacute; a garantizar la continuidad de la organizaci&oacute;n a trav&eacute;s de la mejora continua de sus procedimientos. Para ello, me fij&eacute; el desaf&iacute;o de pasar esta certificaci&oacute;n. Fue un recorrido arduo familiar y profesionalmente. Mi objetivo era equiparme bien para identificar las oportunidades de mejorar y de poner en pr&aacute;ctica soluciones durables&rdquo;<\/em>, comenta Makram.<\/p>\n<p>Los objetivos de la metodolog&iacute;a Lean Six Sigma, adaptada a Grupo AGF, son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tener una mejor comprensi&oacute;n de las necesidades del grupo y encontrar soluciones en colaboraci&oacute;n con los empleados;<\/li>\n<li>resolver problemas de mediana y alta complejidad durante el procedimiento;<\/li>\n<li>reducir las actividades sin valor agregado;<\/li>\n<li>aumentar la competitividad de la empresa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marilyne Barbey,&nbsp;ing., Directora del servicio de mejora continua, se siente orgullosa de este reconocimiento para Makram. Despu&eacute;s de haber obtenido ella misma el cintur&oacute;n negro de Lean Six Sigma, le permiti&oacute; a un joven pasante de AGF, Shakil Chowdhury, completar su formaci&oacute;n para este m&eacute;todo, nivel cintur&oacute;n amarillo en el verano de 2019.<\/p>\n<p>La adquisici&oacute;n de habilidades es un valor importante en Grupo AGF.
