October was an eventful month: Here’s an overview of the activities:<\/p>\n

\n•    Food drive contest<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We were delighted to see so many divisions take part in our contest! Again this year, we collected numerous food items for a variety of local organizations. Our ambassadors pulled out all the stops for this operation and demonstrated their originality in their photos (which you can check out here)<\/a>.
\nIt was tough to choose just one winner, so we congratulate our three winners: AGF ACCESS Oakville, AGF ACCESS Montreal and Winsafe Woodstock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

•    Fundraisers<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Scarborough division was busy this month, organizing a super lunch in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Canada. A little later, Islam Khan ran the Toronto half-marathon in two hours and 23 minutes, raising money for the Red Door Family Shelter. October wrapped up with a Halloween party to benefit the Canadian’s Children Book Centre.
\nIn Longueuil, Gaston Landry, estimator with Acier AGF, organized a sale of delectable cheeses that raised funds for Aux Quatre Poches, a respite centre in the Montérégie region. <\/p>\n
