Welcome to The Network’s new column! We hope you’ll enjoy it and above all, that you’ll be inspired to make a contribution to expanding it. <\/p>\n

Every month,  AGF’s employees will be invited to name someone they feel has made a remarkable contribution at work: resolving a problem, showing initiative, etc. <\/a>Watch Mr. Gendron’s <\/a>video<\/a> about this project.<\/p>\n

\n– Claire Imbeau (<\/em>Acier AGF – Longueuil)<\/em> <\/strong>: Since she arrived in April, Claire has been striving to provide customer relations and project follow-up support to the detailers on a daily basis. She has developed several tools, including a contract amendments registry, for effective project monitoring. Our associated values : Teamwork, competency<\/em><\/p>\n

– Dario Mabou (Armabec)​<\/em><\/strong> : He’s always motivated to get involved in various work groups set up by the Continuous Improvement Department. He often comes up with proposals. For instance, he wrote instructions and made drawings for using the manual bending machine, intended for new employees. Our associated values : Teamwork, determination<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em><\/em> Dave Kruyssen (AGF Rebar Kitchener) <\/em><\/strong>: Dave has been a high achiever in his role as Lead Hand in the Kitchener.  His technical  knowledge of practicalities of a rebar plant is exceptional. His personal performance has garnered Dave the promotion to Shop Manager of the Kitchener plant.  <\/em><\/em>Dave has the grit and determination required for a demanding business. Our associated values : <\/em><\/em>Determination, performance, team work​ <\/em><\/p>\n

– Lindsay Roedding (AGF Rebar Kitchener) <\/em><\/strong>: <\/em>Health and Safety is the most important driver for our business. In order to improve our focus in the shop Lindsay moved into new role of managing the H & S.  Lindsay has been energized by the role as it allows constant engagement with the front line employees.Our associated values : Health and safety, integrity,.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

– <\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em>Steven Miousse (Acier AGF – Québec \/ Trois-Rivières) <\/em><\/strong>: Steven joined the Quebec City AGF Steel team in 2011. As an operator, he was quick to get involved and demonstrate initiative, advancing to the role of team leader. <\/em>In October, he was promoted to plant foreman. <\/em>This is a great example of perseverance and career development within the company. Our associated values: Competency, performance<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

\n– Claire Imbeau ( Acier AGF – Longueuil)<\/em> <\/strong>: Desde su llegada el abril pasado, trata de apoyar cotidianamente a los detallistas, ya sea en sus relaciones con los clientes o en el seguimiento de proyectos. Desarrolló varias herramientas, como el registro de modificaciones al contrato, las cuales permiten un seguimiento eficaz del proyecto. Nuestros valores asociados: Trabajo de equipo, habilidades<\/em><\/p>\n

– <\/strong><\/em>Dario Mabou (Armabec)​<\/em><\/strong> : S<\/em>iempre implicado y motivado en diferentes grupos de trabajo propuestos para el servicio de mejora continua, Darío demuestra con frecuencia una capacidad de propuesta. Por ejemplo, redactó y diseño un proceso relativo al pliegue en la plegadora manual, dirigido a los empleados nuevos. Nuestros valores asociados: Trabajo de equipo, determinación<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

– <\/strong><\/em><\/em>Dave Kruyssen<\/strong> <\/strong><\/em><\/em>(AGF Rebar Kitchener)<\/em><\/strong>: <\/em><\/em>Demostró un gran desempeño en su papel de jefe de equipo en Kitchener. Su conocimiento técnico sobre una fábrica de acero de armadura es excepcional. Gracias a su desempeño personal obtuvo la promoción al puesto de director de fábrica de Kitchener. Nuestros valores asociados: Trabajo de equipo, determinación, desempeño <\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/em> Lindsay Roedding (AGF Rebar Kitchener) <\/em><\/strong>: La salud y la seguridad son muy importantes para nuestra empresa. Para dirigir mejor nuestras acciones en la empresa, Lindsay asumió nuevas funciones de gestión de salud y seguridad en el trabajo. Por medio de sus funciones y de su dinamismo, contribuyó a desarrollar la entrega de los empleados de la fábrica. Nuestros valores asociados: <\/em>Salud, seguridad, Integridad<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em> Steven Miousse (Acier AGF – Québec \/ Trois-Rivières) <\/em><\/strong>: <\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em>Se unió al equipo de Acier AGF Quebec en 2011. En su puesto de operador, Steven se implicó rápidamente y demostró tener la iniciativa para llegar a su puesto de jefe de equipo. En octubre de 2019, fue promovido como contramaestre de fábrica.
