During the course of your career, what are the biggest challenges have you faced? What strategies did you use to get through them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

An entrepreneur’s life isn’t exactly a bowl of cherries! 
\nMy first big challenge came when I went from being a consulting engineer to a rebar subcontractor. Instead of having a direct relationship with the customer, I was now dealing with many general contractors, where the subcontractor’s voice is not always heard. It was no longer in an individual dynamic, so I had to become adaptable. Rebar is all about teamwork! <\/p>\n

The other big challenge has been dealing with both good times and bad. Like any company, we have gone through complicated phases, in which there was little activity. On the other hand, as surprising as it might sound, it is also difficult to manage an overflowing order book, which means you face issues such as labour shortages, productivity, inventory management, etc. <\/p>\n

To get through tough times and surmount obstacles, you have to keep a cool head regardless of the circumstances, have confidence in yourself, as well as great confidence in your teams! 
\nIf you don’t have a united team behind you, you won’t weather the storm.

¿Cuáles son los más grandes desafíos que ha enfrentado durante su carrera? ¿Qué estrategias puso en práctica para superarlos?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La vida de un empresario ¡dista mucho de ser un camino llano y tranquilo!<\/p>\n

El primer gran desafío para mí fue pasar de asesor de ingeniería a contratista en acero de refuerzo. Tuve que pasar de una relación directa con el que otorga el trabajo a una relación con muchos empresarios generales en la cual la voz del contratista no es siempre escuchada. Ya no estaba en una dinámica individual, así que tuve que demostrar mucha adaptabilidad. ¡El acero de refuerzo es un trabajo en equipo!<\/p>\n

El otro gran desafío es tener que enfrentar los periodos buenos y los malos. Como toda empresa, tuvimos que pasar a través de fases complicadas, durante las cuales la actividad no era muy grande. Por el contrario, aunque parezca sorprendente, la abundancia en el registro de pedidos también es difícil de administrar, ya que nos enfrentamos a problemas relacionados con la mano de obra, la productividad, la gestión de existencias, etc.<\/p>\n

Para lograr pasar a través de los periodos complicados y superar los obstáculos, hay que mantener la cabeza fría en todas las circunstancias, tener confianza en sí mismo, ¡y también tener una gran confianza en sus equipos!<\/p>\n
