On Friday, November 22, we were pleased to welcome the Honourable Lionel Carmant, Minister for Health and Social Services and MNA for the riding of Taillon, which is also AGF head office.<\/p>\n

Mr. Carmant wanted to meet companies in his riding to get a better understanding of their services, issues and vision. <\/p>\n

Charles Chebl, Eng., M.A.Sc. (Senior VP, Operations), Stéphanie Allard, CRHA (HR Director) and I had an opportunity to tell him about AGF’s expertise. We chatted about the challenges in our industry, as well as the AGF Foundation Group’s activities and commitments. Mr. Carmant was very interested in this outstanding social engagement initiative by our employees and the company, and asked that we keep him informed on our fundraising activities. <\/p>\n

We then toured the Armabec plant, where he was able to see production components for the REM and the new office tower being built for the National Bank in Montreal. <\/p>\n

All in all, it was a great opportunity to highlight our talents, and we look forward to future visits by Mr. Carmant.<\/p>\n

Visita a Longueuil<\/h2>\n

El viernes 22 de noviembre, tuvimos el placer de recibir la visita del honorable Lionel Carmant, Viceministro de Salud y de Servicios Sociales y Diputado de la circunscripción de Taillon, en donde se encuentra AGF.<\/p>\n

El Señor Carmant deseaba encontrarse con las empresas de su sector para comprender mejor sus servicios, los desafíos y su visión.
\nCharles Chebl, Ing. (Vicepresidente Principal, Explotación), Stéphanie Allard, Profesional de Recursos Humanos Acreditada (CRHA), (Directora, Recursos Humanos) y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de presentarle la experiencia de AGF. Tuvimos algunos intercambios sobre los desafíos de nuestro sector de negocios y también aprovechamos la oportunidad para hablarle de las iniciativas y de los compromisos de la Fundación Grupo AGF.
\nDemostró mucho interés por el extraordinario movimiento de implicación social por parte de los empleados y de la empresa y pidió que lo mantuviésemos informado sobre nuestras actividades al respecto.<\/p>\n

Después fuimos a visitar la fábrica de Armabec. Así pudo observar los elementos en producción para la Red Exprés Metropolitana (REM) y el nuevo edificio de la torre del Banco Nacional de Montreal.<\/p>\n

En resumen, fue una bella ocasión de impulsar a nuestros talentos. Nos encantará recibirlo de nuevo en otras ocasiones.
