Here is an overview of our three divisions involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Armature Sherbrooke&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our division is continuing work on the 1,100 MT (metric tonnes)&nbsp;project we started in 2019 to build two bridges over the Massawippi River,&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe first bridge was completed in the fall; for the second bridge, the deck unit, consisting of 325 tonnes of galvanized steel, still needs to be installed. This phase will begin in March and should wrap up by mid-April at the latest, as per the schedule.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This project involved the AGF plant in Longueuil for fabrication of the steel piles as well as the post-tensioning team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_2222-7.jpg\" style=\"height:300px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AGF &#8211; Olympic Inc. &#8211; Caraquet&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Shediac Bridge: this is a big new contract for our division, a project for the New Brunswick Department of Transport and Infrastructure.<br \/>\nThis 216-metre bridge is located on Highway 11, in the Shediac region (Westmorland County). The contract involves supplying and installing 350 tonnes of steel, including 90 tonnes of stainless steel.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe project will begin in February with prefabrication of columns and caissons (with an average length of 18 metres and 15 metres) at our Caraquet plant, and installation will get under way in May.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project should be completed by the end of summer 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AGF &#8211; Reinforcing Inc. &#8211; Rocky View<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our office recently landed a contract for the construction of a bridge spanning about 1 kilometre along Highway 29.<\/p>\n<p>This project for the BC Ministry of Transportation will call for 3,300 MT of steel, with 500 MT of stainless steel and 2,800 MT of black steel. El contrato es para el abastecimiento y la instalaci&oacute;n de 350 t de acero, incluyendo 90 t de acero inoxidable.<br \/>\nEl inicio de la prefabricaci&oacute;n de columnas y de caserones (de una longitud media de 18 m y de 15 m) se realizar&aacute; en febrero en nuestra f&aacute;brica de Caraquet y la instalaci&oacute;n iniciar&aacute; durante el mes de mayo.<br \/>\nEl proyecto deber&aacute; ser finalizada de aqu&iacute; a finales del verano de 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AGF &#8211; Reinforcing Inc. &#8211; Rocky View<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nuestras oficinas obtuvieron recientemente un contrato para la construcci&oacute;n de un puente de aproximadamente 1 km de largo en la autopista 29.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de un proyecto del Ministerio de Colombia Brit&aacute;nica que necesitar&aacute; 3300 t de acero con 500 t de acero inoxidable y 2800 t de acero negro.
