Our Kitchener division is currently working on the Caledonia station, which is under construction on Line 5 Eglinton, Toronto’s new LRT line.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, AGF Rebar has been mandated by the Crosslinx Transit Solution consortium <\/a>to supply, install and inspect reinforcing steel at several stations of the new light-rail transit project in Toronto.<\/p>\n

The team has done an outstanding job on the Caledonia station’s roof slab (440 MT), which is notable for its 30-degree angle.<\/p>\n

This truly is a team effort, driven by the extensive technical expertise of Omayma Mohammad and Ketul Ruparelia, which is reflected in the shop drawings, as well as at the plant, which cut and bent the steel with precision. Not to mention the installation team, which spent two months fastening the steel in cold weather, Dilan Warnapura, who coordinated every detail, and Jaime Romeiro, who was the project leader.<\/p>\n

This achievement is an excellent demonstration of the quality of our work and embodies our company’s values: teamwork, performance, expertise and determination.<\/p>\n

Estación Caledonia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nuestra división de Kitchener realiza actualmente el proyecto de la estación Caledonia, la cual está en construcción en la nueva línea del metro de Toronto, la línea 5, Eglinton.<\/p>\n

El equipo efectuó un trabajo excepcional de la losa del techo de la estación Caledonia (440 t) cuya particularidad es que tiene un ángulo de inclinación de 30 grados.<\/p>\n

Las fotografías ilustran bien la complejidad de esta realización.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es un verdadero proyecto de equipo, el cual reunió los vastos conocimientos técnicos de Omayma Mohammad y de Ketul Ruparelia, los cuales se reflejan en los planos del taller, y también de la fábrica, en la que se cortó y plegó el acero con precisión. No hay que olvidar al equipo de instalación, el cual pasó dos meses uniendo el acero en el frío, a Dilan Warnapura, quien coordinó cada detalle, y a Jaime Romeiro, el líder de este proyecto.<\/p>\n

Esta realización es una bella demostración de la calidad de nuestro trabajo y personifica los valores de nuestra empresa: el trabajo de equipo, el desempeño, la competencia y la determinación.<\/p>\n
