{"id":46726,"date":"2020-04-15T08:26:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-15T12:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/preserving-your-mental-health"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:39:33","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:39:33","slug":"preserving-your-mental-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/human-resources\/preserving-your-mental-health","title":{"rendered":"Preserving your mental health"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>In these complicated times, physical and mental health is at the heart of the AGF Group&#8217;s concerns.&nbsp;<br \/>\nSince we&rsquo;re far apart from each other, it&rsquo;s important to keep in touch, so the Group has set up weekly virtual meetings:<em> Let&#8217;s Stay Together.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Facilitated by the AGF Group&#8217;s Mental Health team, these weekly discussions, which are open to all employees, allow colleagues to see each other, exchange views on various topics and share advice and best practices.&nbsp; <em>(As an AGF&#8217;s employee you want to participe in these discussione please contact us :&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:communication@agfgroup.com\">communication@agfgroup.com<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>During the first discussion, one of the topics was preserving our mental health in these difficult times. To this end, the HR Department is sharing you an interesting article from Medisys with five tips for good mental health.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.medisys.ca\/fr-ca\/conseils-sante-mentale-covid-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(source&nbsp;https:\/\/blog.medisys.ca\/fr-ca\/conseils-sante-mentale-covid-19)<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Keep in mind that everyone reacts differently to stressful situations<\/strong> such as the COVID-19 pandemic<br \/>\nHow you respond to this pandemic and the intensity of the emotions you feel have a lot to do with your background, your mental and physical health, your life experiences and your community. Give yourself permission to experience your emotions and be aware of responding in a healthy way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Stay in touch&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\nDuring this time of physical distancing, remember that our only job is to maintain physical distance from others. Continuing to interact socially is more important than ever.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Limit your news consumption&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\nConstantly reading, listening to or watching the news can heighten anxiety and fears about COVID-19. It is important to stay informed, but rather than looking for updates throughout the day, limit the time you spend searching for information and check reputable news sources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Practice mindfulness and self-care&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\nIn times of increased stress, it&rsquo;s crucial to give priority to sleep, good nutrition and self-care. It&rsquo;s important to take time every day&mdash;even if it&rsquo;s only 15 minutes&mdash;to do something you enjoy. It will help you stay in the present moment. (meditate, do some stretches, take a bath, cook, write in your journal, read a book for pleasure).<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Ask for help if you need it&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you or someone you care about is feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or sadness, contact a relative, friend.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2272.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mantener la salud mental <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durante este periodo dif&iacute;cil, la salud f&iacute;sica y mental se encuentra al centro de las preocupaciones de Grupo AGF.<\/p>\n<p>Como es importante mantenerse en contacto mientras estamos lejos unos de otros, Grupo AGF organiz&oacute; reuniones virtuales semanales: Manteng&aacute;monos Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>Organizadas por el equipo de Salud Mental de Grupo AGF, estas discusiones semanales, en las que todos los empleados pueden participar, permiten que todos puedan verse, conversar sobre diferentes temas y difundir consejos y buenas pr&aacute;cticas.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la primera discusi&oacute;n, evidentemente el tema era c&oacute;mo mantener nuestra salud mental en estos momentos dif&iacute;ciles. Para hacerlo, el departamento de recursos humanos comparti&oacute; un art&iacute;culo interesante de Medysis que enumera cinco consejos para mantener una buena salud mental.<\/p>\n<p>Disfrute la lectura. &iexcl;Todo va a salir bien! <em>(&Ccedil;a va bien aller!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Estar consciente de que cada uno reacciona de manera diferente en situaciones de estr&eacute;s como la pandemia del virus de la COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La manera en la que reacciona ante esta pandemia y la intensidad de las emociones que siente tienen mucho que ver con sus antecedentes, su estado de salud mental y f&iacute;sica, su experiencia de vida y su comunidad. Perm&iacute;tase vivir sus emociones y est&eacute; consciente para reaccionar de una manera sana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Mant&eacute;nganse comunicado.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durante este periodo de distanciamiento f&iacute;sico, recuerde que nuestra obligaci&oacute;n es solamente distanciarnos f&iacute;sicamente unos de otros. Seguir comunic&aacute;ndonos socialmente es m&aacute;s importante que nunca.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Limite el consumo de noticias.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El hecho de leer, de escuchar o de ver constantemente las informaciones pueden empeorar la ansiedad y el miedo que acompa&ntilde;a al virus de la COVID-19. Es importante mantenerse informado, pero en vez de buscar actualizaciones durante todo el d&iacute;a, dedique un periodo de tiempo limitado a la b&uacute;squeda de informaci&oacute;n e inf&oacute;rmese a partir de fuentes de noticias reputadas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Practique la consciencia plena y realice cuidados personales.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En un periodo de estr&eacute;s extremo, es esencial darle prioridad al sue&ntilde;o, a una buena alimentaci&oacute;n y a los cuidados personales. Es importante reservarse tiempo todos los d&iacute;as, aunque sea 15&nbsp;minutos, para hacer algo que le guste; eso lo har&aacute; estar en el momento presente. (Meditar, hacer estiramientos, tomar un ba&ntilde;o, cocinar, escribir un diario, leer un libro por placer&hellip;)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
