In recent weeks, daily life at AGF’s plants and on construction sites has been a little different.<\/p>\n

In Quebec, construction sector has been shut down (with few exceptions). In Alberta, British-Columbia and New Brunswick regular operations have been continuing at the request of provincial authorities.<\/p>\n

In Ontario, several of our projects have been impacted as the provincial government has produced a list of priority projects.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, some of them continue in our plants in Ontario, like the one in Kitchener where employees work to supply steel for various projects, including:<\/p>\n

– Bronte Village Mall:<\/strong> located in Oakville, this is a mixed-use project, i.e. both commercial and residential, that will replace the former Bronte Village Mall, which was exclusively commercial. It will consist of two luxury residential rental towers (10 and 14 storeys), including 483 units and 13,500 square feet of additional complementary retail space on the ground floor.
\nAGF is responsible for supplying more than 4,600 MT of steel; the first deliveries began in January 2018 and are expected to continue until the end of 2020.<\/p>\n

– DTK Condos<\/strong>: Located in the heart of Kitchener, this 39-storey tower will be the tallest in the city. It will comprise luxury condos equipped with the latest technologies (smart entry, lighting and thermostats, etc.) and will even feature a community garden on the fifth floor (source https:\/\/www.dtkcondos.ca\/)<\/a><\/em>
\nAGF has already supplied more than 1,290 MT of steel since March 2019, for a total of 2,820 MT.<\/p>\n

The health and safety of our workers is at the heart of the Group’s concerns. Thus, to ensure the safety of our employees continuing their work in our various provinces, we have implemented preventive measures (compliance with hygiene rules, personal protective equipment, distance between employees)<\/em> in order to provide them with the safest possible environment.<\/p>\n

Proyectos en Ontario<\/h3>\n

En las últimas semanas, la vida cotidiana de las fábricas y obras en las que está presente AGF se ha visto considerablemente alterada en ciertas regiones.<\/p>\n

En Quebec, el sector de la construcción ha sido cerrado (con algunas excepciones).  En Columbia Británica, Alberta y Nueva Brunswick, las operaciones continúan regularmente a petición de las autoridades provinciales.<\/p>\n

En Ontario, muchos de nuestros proyectos se han visto afectados, el gobierno provincial ha elaborado una lista de proyectos prioritarios.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, algunos de ellos continúan en nuestras plantas de Ontario, incluyendo en Kitchener, donde los empleados están trabajando para suministrar acero para varios proyectos, incluyendo : <\/p>\n

– Bronte Village Mall<\/strong>: Situado en Oakville, se trata de un proyecto de uso mixto; es decir comercial y residencial a la vez, el cual reemplaza al antiguo Bronte Village Mall que solamente contaba con comercios.
\nEstará compuesto de dos torres residenciales de alquiler de lujo (pisos 10 y 14) incluyendo 483 unidades y 1254 m2<\/sup> (13 500 ft2<\/sup>) de nuevos espacios comerciales complementarios en la planta baja.
\nAGF esta a cargo del abastecimiento de más de 4600 t de acero, cuyas primeras entregas empezaron en enero de 2018 y deberían continuar hasta finales de 2020.<\/p>\n

– Duke Tower Kitchener:<\/strong> Situada en el centro de Kitchener, esta torre se elevará 39 pisos para convertirse en la torre más elevada de la ciudad. Está compuesta de condominios de lujo equipados con las últimas tecnologías (sistemas de entrada, sistema de iluminación y termostatos inteligentes) e incluso ofrecerá un jardín comunitario en el 5º piso (fuente: https:\/\/www.dtkcondos.ca\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Para AGF ya son más de 1290 t de acero que han sido abastecidas desde marzo de 2019, para un total de 2820 t.<\/p>\n
