{"id":46864,"date":"2020-06-15T08:37:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T12:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/news-from-san-jose"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:40:00","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:40:00","slug":"news-from-san-jose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/projects\/news-from-san-jose","title":{"rendered":"News from San Jos\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Since work began in August 2018, AGF Costa Rica and its strategic partner ArcelorMittal Costa Rica have been supplying steel for the major project &ldquo;Circunvalaci&oacute;n Norte&rdquo; (northern bypass) in San Jos&eacute;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This major project will link major roads in the country. So far, AGF has cut, bent and installed 2,850 MT of reinforcing steel. There are 25 employees working on the project, which is expected to be completed in three months. About 400 MT remain to be delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the entire team for an excellent job!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/409920656?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Visibility opportunity <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On May 27, AGF Costa Rica and ArcelorMittal presented a joint video-conference on trends in reinforcing steel in 2020, as well as on the expertise and services they each offer. Nearly 100 people took part: architects, engineers, contractors, project managers, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Participants asked many questions about the added value of our services. In Costa Rica, rebar manufacturing (cutting and bending) usually takes place on site.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AGF Costa Rica was able to demonstrate its production (2,000 MT per month) and prefab capabilities at the plant, thanks to its professional facility and equipment. The company has a solid technical and administrative team, as well as specialized personnel.<\/p>\n<p>All of this benefits our local customers, who enjoy considerable savings in both time and costs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&rsquo;m proud of our team&rsquo;s achievements and hope we can land many more great projects in the months ahead.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2286.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Noticias de San Jos&eacute;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Desde el inicio de los trabajos en agosto de 2018, AGF Costa Rica y su socio estrat&eacute;gico ArcelorMittal Costa Rica suministran el acero para el gran proyecto &ldquo;Circunvalaci&oacute;n Norte&rdquo; (Viaducto Norte) en San Jos&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de una obra mayor que tiene como objetivo vincular importantes v&iacute;as principales del pa&iacute;s. Hasta ahora, AGF cort&oacute;, pleg&oacute; e instal&oacute; 2850&nbsp;t de acero de refuerzo. Veinticinco empleados trabajan en este proyecto que deber&iacute;a terminar en tres meses. Faltan por entregar 400&nbsp;t.<\/p>\n<p>&iexcl;Felicidades a todo el equipo por su excelente trabajo!<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/409920656%C2%A0%20%C2%A0%C2%A0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/409920656%C2%A0%20%C2%A0%C2%A0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Video del proyecto aqui<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Oportunidad de notoriedad<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El 27 de mayo pasado, AGF Costa Rica y ArcelorMittal organizaron una videoconferencia sobre las tendencias en acero de refuerzo en el 2020 y sobre la experiencia t&eacute;cnica y los servicios que cada uno puede ofrecer.<\/p>\n<p>Casi cien personas participaron en la llamada: arquitectos, ingenieros, ordenantes, encargados de proyecto, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Nos hicieron muchas preguntas sobre el valor a&ntilde;adido de nuestros servicios. En efecto, en Costa Rica, la fabricaci&oacute;n (corte y plegado) del acero de refuerzo se realiza normalmente en la obra.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, Costa Rica pudo demostrar sus capacidades de producci&oacute;n (2000&nbsp;t por mes) y de prefabricaci&oacute;n en la f&aacute;brica gracias a sus instalaciones y a su equipo profesional.
