Here is a brief summary of the AGF Group Foundation’s activities this summer:<\/p>\n

An innovative sports challenge<\/h3>\n

With physical distancing rules, it’s hard for the AGF Group Foundation’s ambassadors to hold fundraising activities where participants can enjoy each other’s company.<\/p>\n

But it takes more than that to discourage Islam Khan of our Scarborough division.<\/p>\n

He came up with the brilliant idea of a sports challenge for all of our Ontario divisions. For five days, some 30 employees took up the challenge to walk, run or cycle.<\/p>\n

In total, they covered 642 km and collected donations for a hospital treating COVID-19 patients. Congratulations to everyone!<\/p>\n

There’s no doubt this challenge will find takers elsewhere. Quebec ambassadors: the ball’s in your court!<\/p>\n

We all dream of ice cream!<\/h3>\n

Summer is synonymous with ice cream! Carol in the Ottawa division arranged to have an ice cream truck come by, much to the delight of her colleagues. More importantly, it was a fundraiser for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.<\/a><\/p>\n

Aquí hay un breve resumen de las actividades de la Fundación del Grupo AGF este verano:<\/p>\n

Un desafío deportivo innovador<\/h3>\n

Con las reglas de distanciación social, es difícil para los embajadores de la Fundación Grupo AGF implementar actividades de recaudación de fondos durante los cuales los colaboradores tengan el placer de reencontrarse.
\nSin embargo, se necesita más para desanimar a Islam Khan, de nuestra división de Scarborough. Tuvo en efecto la brillante idea de proponerles un desafío deportivo a todas nuestras divisiones en Ontario. Durante cinco días, una trentena de empleados tomaron la iniciativa de caminar, correr o andar a bicicleta. En total, recorrieron 642 km y recaudaron fondos para un centro hospitalario en donde se tratan pacientes con COVID-19.
\nLos felicitamos a todos; sin duda este desafío ganará adeptos… ¡la pelota está del lado de nuestros embajadores de Quebec!<\/p>\n

¡Vivan los helados!<\/h3>\n

Cuando llega el verano, ¡llega el helado! Carol, de la división de Ottawa, decidió llevar un camión de helados para deleitar a sus colegas, pero también, y sobretodo, para recaudar fondos para la Fundación contra el cáncer de la región de Ottawa
