In recent weeks, the Health and Safety team has expanded with the arrival of new members in Quebec. This reinforces AGF Group’s desire to make health and safety its central focus.<\/p>\n

To this end, a project to secure production equipment was launched at the end of August. Specific training was provided to those representing, safety, operations and maintenance at various sites in Quebec.  <\/p>\n

Following their training, the team spent the next three days evaluating the risks related to six automatic machines and finding solutions that will protect workers and thus prevent the risk of hand injuries.<\/p>\n

For the OHS team, the major challenge is to ensure employees’ physical integrity, so that each one goes home to their family in the same condition they arrived at work. It’s a daily challenge! Positive changes will therefore be coming to our plants!<\/p>\n

Capacitación<\/h3>\n

Desde hace varias semanas, el equipo de Salud y Seguridad incrementó con la llegada de nuevos colaboradores a Quebec. Esto no hace más que ilustrar el deseo de Grupo AGF de darle prioridad a la salud y la seguridad.<\/p>\n

Con esta perspectiva, a finales del mes de agosto se inició un proyecto de aseguramiento de equipo. Se transmitió una capacitación específica para los representantes de los trabajadores, los departamentos de seguridad, de operaciones y de mantenimiento en diferentes lugares de Quebec.<\/p>\n

Después de esta capacitación, el equipo se concentró, durante los tres días siguientes, a evaluar los riesgos relacionados con los seis equipos automáticos y a encontrar soluciones que permitirán proteger a los trabajadores y así prevenir los riesgos de lesiones en las manos.<\/p>\n

Para el equipo de SST, el desafío mayor es garantizar la integridad física de todos los trabajadores, asegurándose que todos regresarán a casa de la misma manera en la que llegaron a trabajar. Es un desafío cotidiano. ¡Habrá cambios positivos en nuestras fábricas!<\/p>\n
