{"id":47120,"date":"2020-09-05T09:37:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-05T13:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/mission-accomplished"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:41:00","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:41:00","slug":"mission-accomplished","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/foundation\/mission-accomplished","title":{"rendered":"Mission accomplished !"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>For many years, the AGF Group Foundation has supported the Foundation of the Centre Jeunesse de la Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie (FCJM).<\/p>\n<p>This year, the relationship has intensified: last September, Suzie Roy, the FCJM\u2019s director, approached Catherine Gendron, general manager of the AGF Group Foundation, about a major renovation project at Maison Escargot.<\/p>\n<p>This centre serves the needs of young children who are experiencing difficulties in their family environment. They live at the centre full time, so they can thrive in a stable and safe setting.<\/p>\n<p>CYBF needed $10,000 to finance the renovations. We were moved by this project, so we decided to rally to reach this goal. Today, we are very proud to announce that the challenge has been met: a total of more than $13,000 has been donated.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement is the result of numerous efforts by Longueuil employees, who have organized fundraising activities since September 2019 (sale of Yule logs, half-and-half draws, etc.). We are also grateful for the support of MNA Lionel Carmant (\u00e0 corriger en fran\u00e7ais), who pledged to contribute financially to the project while visiting our facilities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is a heartwarming example of what we can accomplish by joining forces! &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Misi\u00f3n cumplida!<\/p>\n<p>Desde hace varios a\u00f1os, la Fundaci\u00f3n Grupo AGF aporta su apoyo a la Fundaci\u00f3n del Centro para la Juventud de Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie (FCJM, por sus siglas en franc\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o la relaci\u00f3n se intensific\u00f3: el pasado septiembre, Suzie Roy, directora de la fundaci\u00f3n, se dirigi\u00f3 a Catherine Gendron, Directora General de la Fundaci\u00f3n Grupo AGF, para informarle sobre el proyecto de renovaci\u00f3n del centro \u201cMaison Escargot\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Este centro est\u00e1 destinado a los ni\u00f1os que tienen dificultades en su ambiente familiar. Son recibidos a tiempo completo para que evolucionen en un entorno estable y seguro.<\/p>\n<p>La FCJM necesitaba 10&nbsp;000&nbsp;CAD para financiar las renovaciones. Conmovidos por este proyecto, decidimos ponernos en acci\u00f3n para alcanzar este objetivo. Hoy en d\u00eda nos sentimos m\u00e1s que orgullosos de anunciar que el desaf\u00edo fue superado ya que se entregaron m\u00e1s de 13&nbsp;000&nbsp;CAD en total.<\/p>\n<p>Este logro fue el resultado de los m\u00faltiples esfuerzos de los empleados de Longueuil, quienes multiplicaron las actividades para colectar fondos desde septiembre de 2019 (venta de troncos navide\u00f1os, sorteo 50\/50\u2026).
