This month, I’ve selected the following question : “AGF has just won a Mercure award for its community involvement. How do you see the Foundation evolving in the years ahead?<\/strong>“<\/strong><\/p>\n

For AGF Group, social involvement is one of our core values and it’s here to stay. I see a very bright future for the Foundation. When I decided to entrust the Foundation’s general management to Catherine Gendron in 2014, I focused on sustainability. Since then, AGF Group’s teams have organized more than 500 fundraising activities to benefit organizations chosen by our employees. These are also long-term commitments in sectors ranging from health, education and mental health to food insufficiency, etc.<\/p>\n

The Foundation’s future is also supported by its five sources of funding: revenues generated by activities organized by the employees, payroll deduction donations by a number of employees, the presentation of a major annual fundraiser, the statutory payment of a portion of AGF Group’s profits and, lastly, the return on funds invested via our inalienable capital, which grows at the rate of 10% of annual revenues.<\/p>\n

Este mes, seleccioné esta pregunta : “<\/strong>AGF acaba de recibir el premio “Mercure” por su participación en la colectividad. ¿Cómo ve usted la evolución de la Fundación en los próximos años?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

La participación social de Grupo AGF es uno de nuestros valores fundamentales y está aquí para quedarse. Yo veo un muy buen futuro para la Fundación. Cuando decidí confiarle la dirección general de la Fundación a Catherine Gendron, en el 2014, opté por la perennidad. Desde entonces, los equipos de Grupo AGF han realizado más de 500 actividades para recaudar fondos, organizadas en beneficio de organismos elegidos por nuestros empleados. También son compromisos a largo plazo en sectores tan diversos como la salud, la educación, la salud mental y la escasez alimentaria, entre otros.<\/p>\n

El futuro de la Fundación también está garantizado por cinco fuentes de financiamiento: los ingresos generados por las actividades implementadas por los empleados, la deducción salarial de varios empleados, la organización de un evento mayor anual, el pago estatutario de una parte de las ganancias de Grupo AGF y, finalmente, los rendimientos de las sumas invertidas por medio de nuestro capital inalienable, el cual crece a un ritmo del 10% de los ingresos anuales.<\/p>\n
