Today it is an essential part of Calgary&#8217;s transportation system, which sees up to 100,000 vehicles per day.&nbsp; Extensive work was required to reinforce the bridge structure and widen it by adding additional lanes in both directions.<\/p>\n<p>AGF Reinforcing supplied and installed more than 2000 MT of reinforcing steel.<\/p>\n<p>The project, which began in 2017, presented a sizeable logistical challenge because the lanes were kept open in both directions from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. To do so, temporary platforms were installed directly over the river, so that work could be done under the bridges during the day while vehicles continued to circulate.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Garth Berg of the Calgary team, AGF Reinforcing Inc. was able to complete this project safely and securely.<\/p>\n<p>We&rsquo;re very proud to have been part of such an important project.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2312.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>La autopista Crowchild Trail, situada en Calgary, fue construida sobre el r&iacute;o Bow en 1966. Hoy en d&iacute;a es un elemento esencial de la red de transporte de Calgary, por la cual pasan hasta 100&nbsp;000 veh&iacute;culos por d&iacute;a. Fue necesario realizar trabajos importantes para reforzar la estructura del puente y ampliarlo con v&iacute;as adicionales en los dos sentidos de circulaci&oacute;n.<\/p>\n<p>AGF Reinforcing se ocup&oacute; del abastecimiento y de la instalaci&oacute;n de m&aacute;s de 2000&nbsp;t de acero de refuerzo.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto, que inici&oacute; en el 2017, represent&oacute; un gran desaf&iacute;o log&iacute;stico, ya que las v&iacute;as de circulaci&oacute;n se mantuvieron abiertas en los dos sentidos de las 5:00&nbsp;a.&nbsp;m. a las 9:00&nbsp;p.&nbsp;m.
