In total, 56 wind turbine bases had been built during this first phase: a project with multiple challenges that the Calgary teams had successfully met. <a href=\"https:\/\/lereseau.groupeagf.com\/en\/articles\/Whitla-Wind-Project\/\">Read our article of August,2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today, we are proud to announce that AGF Reinforcing has been awarded phases 2 and 3. This will represent the construction of 42 additional bases for approximately 2090MT of reinforcing steel.<\/p>\n<p>Work for AGF should start around late May \/ early June 2021 and end at the end of August.<\/p>\n<p>When finalized, Whitla Wind Farm will become Alberta&#8217;s largest wind facility.
