As Christmas approached, our ambassadors and their colleagues rolled up their sleeves and organized numerous activities:<\/p>\n

– Christmas Market <\/strong>
\nIn Longueuil, Sophie Desrosiers, Sophie Bouchard and Geneviève Gagnon organized a Christmas market, where products made by our employees were offered for sale. Marilyne, one of our ambassadors, set up a booth with items bearing the Foundation’s logo This initiative raised $1,183 for the Centre d’Action Bénévole de Boucherville<\/a>  which offers services for family in needs.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

-50\/50 draws<\/strong>
\nThe Markham, Scarborough and Ottawa divisions each held a 50\/50 draw. We’re proud of the generosity of the donors and especially the winners, all of whom decided to donate their entire winnings to the organizations: Margaret’s Housing and Community Support Services<\/a> (Markham), Sick Kids<\/a> (Scarborough) and Restoring Hope<\/a> (Ottawa).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

–Warm clothing drive<\/strong>
\nAs part of Operation No Cold Shoulders, Islam, Angela, Shanel and Praba at the Scarborough office organized a warm clothing drive. As a result, more than 60 articles of clothing were delivered to Shelter House. <\/p>\n

Also in Ottawa, a large number of clothes was collected for Restoring Hope<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

-Toy drive<\/strong>
\nThe London office rallied its employees to make Christmas a little merrier for underprivileged children. Many toys were collected for Toys for Tots.<\/p>\n

-Silent Auction<\/strong>
\nKaylamay of the Rocky View Division hosted a silent auction that raised over $1,200 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Calgary.<\/p>\n

Despite the many challenges facing us, we can be proud of the outpouring of generosity and unity shown by our employees. Congratulations to all of you!

Espíritu navideño<\/h3>\n

\nCon la llegada de la Navidad, nuestros embajadores y colegas se pusieron manos a la obra y organizaron numerosas actividades:<\/p>\n

– Mercado navideño<\/strong>
\nEn Longueuil, Sophie Desrosiers, Sophie Bouchard y Geneviève Gagnon organizaron un mercado navideño durante el cual se ofrecieron a la venta productos confeccionados por los empleados. Marilyne, una de nuestras embajadoras, puso un puesto con artículos con la imagen de la Fundación. Esta iniciativa permitió recaudar 1100 CAD para la Fundación Grupo AGF.<\/p>\n

– Sorteos 50\/50<\/strong>
\nLas divisiones de Markham, Scarbourough y Ottawa organizaron cada una un sorteo 50\/50. Podemos sentirnos orgullosos de la generosidad de los donadores y sobre todo de los ganadores, quienes sin excepción decidieron transferir la totalidad de sus ganancias a los siguientes organismos: Margaret’s Housing and Community Support Services (Markham), Sick Kids (Scarbourough) y Restoring Hope (Ottawa).<\/p>\n

– Colecta de prendas abrigadas<\/strong>
\nEn el marco de la operación “No Cold Shoulders”, Islam, Angela, Shanel y Praba, de las oficinas de Scarborough, organizarón una colecta de prendas de vestir abrigadas. En total, se entregaron 60 prendas a Maison Shelter.<\/p>\n

En Ottawa, también se colectó un gran número de prendas en beneficio de Restoring Hope. <\/p>\n

\n– Colecta de juguetes<\/strong>
\nLas oficinas de London se organizaron para ofrecerles a los niños necesitados una hermosa Navidad. Se recaudó un gran número de juguetes en beneficio del programa Toys for Tots. <\/p>\n

A pesar de los múltiples desafíos a los que nos enfrentamos con la pandemia, podemos sentirnos orgullosos del ímpetu y de la solidaridad que demuestran nuestros empleados. ¡Felicidades a todos!
