In collaboratin with Éric Martineau, Eng. Director, Technology, and Marilyne Barbey, Eng. Director, Development<\/em><\/p>\n

Since November, the Continuous Improvement Department has been growing! Created in 2017 and headed by Marilyne Barbey, P. Eng., it has a mission to improve AGF Group’s processes and thereby increase its productivity.<\/p>\n

Today, it is widening its scope of action and has been renamed the Development Department.
\nThere are now five people on the multidisciplinary team: 
\n– Marilyne Barbey, Director
\n– Marguerite Saint-Louis, Senior Systems Analyst
\n– Jean-Sébastien Durocher, Analyst-Programmer
\n– Jordan Lam-Deschamps, IT Analyst, systems and Network Operations
\n– Paul Vareilles, Continuous Improvement Technician.<\/p>\n

This evolution responds to a desire to combine expertise in technology and processes in order to develop the innovative solutions of tomorrow and support AGF Group in its 4.0.transformation. 
\nThe department will now be able to work on larger-scale projects, with a broader and more comprehensive vision.<\/p>\n

Examples of current projects: <\/h3>\n

– Active supervision, intended to provide supervisors with tools to help them better manage their teams: development of daily planning templates, preparation of pre-shift meeting content, etc.
\n– Payroll management process: to improve the collection and transmission of the necessary data to the payroll team
\n– KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), which are established to allow for the automated sharing of essential information. They help facilitate decision-making by making it faster and more efficient.<\/p>\n

Rumbo hacia el cambio para el departamento de mejora continua<\/h3>\n

Desde el pasado noviembre, el departamento de mejora continua ¡se ha ampliado! Creado en el 2017 y dirigido por Marilyne Barbey, ing., este departamento tiene como misión mejorar los procedimientos de Grupo AGF para incrementar su productividad.<\/p>\n

Hoy en día, el servicio amplía su ámbito de acción y se convierte en el Departamento de Desarrollo. A partir de ahora, está compuesto de un equipo multidisciplinario de cinco personas:
\n-Marilyne Barbey, Directora,
\n-Marguerite Saint-Louis, Analista de sistemas principal,
\n-Jean-Sébastien Durocher, Analista programador,
\n-Jordan Lam-Deschamps, Analista en tecnologías de la información (TI), operación de sistemas y redes,
\n-Paul Vareilles, Técnico en mejora continua.<\/p>\n

Esta evolución responde a la decisión de combinar las competencias en tecnología y en procedimientos para desarrollar soluciones innovadoras del mañana y así acompañar a Grupo AGF en su transformación 4.0. De esta manera, el departamento podrá trabajar en proyectos de mayor envergadura, con una visión más global y completa.<\/p>\n

Ejemplo de proyectos en curso: <\/h3>\n

– La supervisión activa, la cual tiene como objetivo proporcionarles a los supervisores herramientas que les ayuden a dirigir más fácilmente a sus equipos (elaboración del formulario de planificación diaria, preparación del contenido de las reuniones antes del turno de trabajo, entre otras),
\n-Los indicadores clave de rendimiento (KPI, por sus siglas en inglés), los cuales son puestos en práctica para permitir la transmisión de información esencial de manera automatizada. Contribuyen a facilitar la toma de decisiones haciéndola más eficaz y rápida.
