AGF Rebar (formerly AGF Reinforcing) won the project to extend the BMO Convention Center located in Stampede Park in Calgary.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 1982, it is the premier venue for Calgary trade and consumer shows, special events, meetings and conferences. Its expansion is an essential first step in making the Downtown Eastside Calgary&#8217;s culture and entertainment district.<\/p>\n<p>Work for AGF Rebar will begin in May, for a period of approximately 17 months.<\/p>\n<p>The work will take place even as two major festivals and the 400 conventions are taking place *, thus offering our company immense visibility. AGF Rebar will thus be part of the biggest outdoor show in the world! <em>(* events remain to be confirmed).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2355.jpg\" style=\"height:75px; width:450px\" title=\"\"><\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Centro de convenciones BMO<\/h2>\n<p>Los equipos de nuestra divisi&oacute;n en Calgary esperaban con impaciencia esta noticia que lleg&oacute; hace algunos d&iacute;as. AGF Rebar (antiguamente AGF Reinforcing) obtuvo el proyecto concerniente a la expansi&oacute;n del Centro de convenciones BMO, situado en el parque Stampede en Calgary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Fue construido en 1982 y es el principal lugar de recibimiento de ferias comerciales y del p&uacute;blico en general, de eventos especiales, de reuniones y de conferencias en Calgary. Su expansi&oacute;n es una primera etapa esencial para convertir la parte este del centro de la ciudad en el sector de la cultura y del entretenimiento de Calgary.<\/p>\n<p>Este proyecto representa aproximadamente 1300 t de acero para AGF Rebar. Los trabajos iniciar&aacute;n durante el mes de mayo y durar&aacute;n aproximadamente diecisiete meses.<\/p>\n<p>La obra se realizar&aacute; a pesar de que se llevar&aacute;n a cabo dos importantes festivales y 400 convenciones*, ofreci&eacute;ndole as&iacute; a nuestra empresa una inmensa visibilidad.
