This month, I’ve selected the following question : <\/p>\n

What’s your typical day at the office?<\/h3>\n

I have to admit I had a bit of trouble answering this question, because there really is no typical day for me at the office!<\/p>\n

First, I have to speak directly with my 10 colleagues (almost every day). They’ll be handling operations (Maxime Gendron), finance and budgets (Mark Clarke), HR policies and compensation (Catherine Gendron), strategic planning (Geoff Inniss), acquisitions and other investments (Michel Gendron), strategic counsel (Pierre Lefebvre), the Caribbean and India (Gabriel Bonin), South America (Diego Bravo), Central America (Mario Spadafora) and general administration (Anne Charest).<\/p>\n

Then come relations with the board of directors and its committees, sureties and investors.<\/p>\n

Everything that has to do with steel supply is crucial for our operations, and for this I rely on Sylvain Vaillancourt, Pierre Colangelo and their team. We have discussions on this subject at least weekly.<\/p>\n

On a typical day, there is likely to be one discussion about the AGF Group Foundation and several conversations about COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Increasingly, relationships with our customers are now established at the division level, but I still interact with them regularly.<\/p>\n

As you can see, I would definitely not be able to do all this in one day without the skilled and dedicated team that supports me.<\/p>\n

¿Cómo es un día típico en su trabajo?<\/h3>\n

Debo admitir que me cuesta un poco responder a esta pregunta ya que ¡no hay un día de trabajo típico!<\/p>\n

Primero debo (casi a diario) comunicarme con mis diez colaboradores directos. Se trata de las operaciones (Maxime Gendron), de las finanzas y de los presupuestos (Mark Clarke), de las políticas de RH y remuneración (Catherine Gendron), del plan estratégico (Geoff Inniss), de las adquisiciones y otras inversiones (Michel Gendron), de las recomendaciones estratégicas (Pierre Lefebvre), de las Antillas y la India (Gabriel Bonin), Sudamérica (Diego Bravo), de América Central (Mario Spadafora) y de la administración general (Anne Charest).<\/p>\n

Después me ocupo de las relaciones con el consejo de administración y sus comités, los garantes y los inversionistas.<\/p>\n

Todo el aspecto de aprovisionamiento de acero es crucial para nuestras operaciones y puedo contar con el equipo de Sylvain Vaillancourte y de Pierre Colangelo. A este respecto, los intercambios son mínimo diario.<\/p>\n

En un día típico, habrá probablemente un tema que concierna a la Fundación Grupo AGF y a varios temas relacionados con la COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Desde hace tiempo, las relaciones con nuestros clientes se establecen cada vez más en cada una de nuestras divisiones; sin embargo, intercambio regularmente con ellos.<\/p>\n

Como pueden constatar, no podría lograr hacer todo eso en un solo día sin el equipo competente y dedicado que me rodea.<\/p>\n
